Ted Cruz is a coward.
He's other things — a GOP presidential candidate, a senator from Texas, possibly the Zodiac Killer (Google it) — but most of all, and most unquestionably, he's a coward.
A coward mocks what he doesn't understand. A coward seeks political gain by maligning others. A coward talks about North Carolina's controversial bathroom law, which requires transgender people to use the restroom that matches the gender on their birth certificate, by saying this at a Sunday campaign event: "If Donald Trump dresses up as Hillary Clinton, he still can't go to the girl's bathroom."
Hah! The crowd laughed and thought it was a stitch because, naturally, all transgender women look like Trump in a pantsuit, right?
Wrong.
Not just wrong, but offensive. And not just offensive to transgender people, offensive to any American who thinks denigrating transgender people is repellent...

I have no desire to defend Trump to this extreme. I simply don’t get anyone who does. Insult all you want, does not mean I agree with that stance or can pull the lever for one who does. To each his own.

The flip side is Cruz spending so much time on this marginal wedge issue in pandering to the Christian right which has has by-and-large been lost to Trump. We have better things to worry about. One thing we can agree on - "to each his own".
You’re right, for years trannies used the women’s restroom and no one noticed. I for one have never seen the elusive trannie. That said, when you make it a law that men can use the bathroom or dressing room of their choice, depending on the gender they are feeling like that day, it creates problems where there were none. Now, if a man that feels like a woman goes into a restroom with another man’s wife or daughter and that man escorts him back out to protect his loved ones, that man broke the law and can be prosecuted. See how that works? The decent, civilized people are the evil ones, the cross-dressers and perverts are the good guys.

No. We have separate facilities because a certain modicum of modesty is required for our civilization to remain civilized.
I’ve been told that many women won’t even move their bowels when there are other women present in the rest room. What happens if transexuals are going to be there too?

Asking a silly question on FR is not going to keep an ad that looks silly and cringe worthy from looking silly and cringe worthy.
I first saw this ad on Red Eye this last week, they had a bit of fun with it.
