The flip side is Cruz spending so much time on this marginal wedge issue in pandering to the Christian right which has has by-and-large been lost to Trump.

Actually that is a lie. Trump used to win the most when there were more than 3 candidates in the race, but never the majority.

Now that Rubio and Carson are out, Ted Cruz wins the vast majority of evangelical Christian voters. Not Trump.

As to another point about pandering. Yea, lets ignore the largest portion of the Republican base the the GOPe always has.

We now know you are truly a good old fashioned GOPe man who could give a crap about the morality of this country.

The Real Clear Politics polls and others would not agree.

The majority of Republican voters are backing Trump, according to the primaries.

We now know you are truly a good old fashioned GOPe man who could give a crap about the morality of this country.
I can't stand the GOPe. Trump expands the tent - they don't like who Trump brought into the tent. The GOPe gave us McCain, Boehner, Ryan, McConnell, Mittens Romney, and other losers and they refuse to practice any form of introspection.

The GOPe caves to OBama, Reid, Pelosi, and ObamaCare.

Reince will be presiding over the funeral of a big, stinking, decayed, dead GOPe elephant. Me? Part of the GOPe? Nope!
