Ted Cruz and John Kasich issued startling statements Sunday night about their paths ahead, the first sign the two campaigns are coordinating to deny Donald Trump the Republican presidential nomination.
Within minutes of each other, the pair issued statements saying they will divide their efforts in upcoming contests with Cruz focusing on Indiana and Kasich devoting his efforts to Oregon and New Mexico. The strategy is aimed at blocking Trump from gaining the 1,237 delegates necessary to claim to GOP nomination this summer.

>> His appearance at the Mandela funeral should have been our clue.<<
didn’t know that..
but not surprised..
Despicable!
I dont want him as my Senator either. We need to find a good candidate to primary the little weasel next election.
Agree 100%.
I’m sad that I even helped this weasel get elected Senator. Or, that I originally supported him, for Prez (before Trump announced).
I want my time and money back.
I’ll just be happy if his sorry, lying back side gets primaried/voted out.
>>Ted Cruz dares Trump to show the size of his hands<<
:O
Wow .... speechless here....
At first I thought Kasich would be VP now I think he will pick Gov. Scott from FL.
Question for Cruz people.
Will you except an agreement of Kasich/Cruz? That is the only way Cruz would be on a ticket.
He used us. The people of Texas were used. I supported him in his run for the Senate. Really he won because everyone was totally fed up with Dewhurst. I ignored his background as a Harvard Lawyer and just thought he was not Dewhurst.
Thank God Trump ran and ripped the mask off this stooge. His appearance at the Mandela funeral should have been our clue.
Amen.
I’d forgotten about the Mandela funeral appearance.

The dwindling number of Cruzers would just respond to you that Cruz is just forming a temporary alliance to get ahead. Smart politics. Nothing wrong with that they’ll tell you. And yet while they insist that Cruz is a principled constitutional conservative, they’re completely blind to the fact that his portrayal of himself that way is exactly that - a temporary alliance with the conservative base to help him get elected, nothing more.
Got it!
“They got their marching orders.”
I think you are absolutely right.
Recent events are proof that the GOPe leadership is in bed with the Dems for a Hillary presidency.
See:
Tech billionaires (major Dem donors, Hillary supporters) plot with GOP leaders at exclusive island resort to stop Trump
Ugliest man in politics since LBJ.
Absolutely pathetic. These two losers can’t win, so instead of getting out of the way like other candidates traditionally have done, they try to band together to beat Trump.
I am going to laugh my ass off when Trump destroys both of them in Indiana. These kind of GOP-e shenanigans do not go over well with the base.
Looks that way.
How ¡Jeb! and the Rube like of cRuz.
We saw what happened to them, when they went down that road.

Agree.
We were antiDewberry and pro-Sarah.
He used Sarah, too. She realized some time ago what he was all about, I believe. About the time that Beck backstabbed her.
“Election results in every state prior to New York show that a majority of the Republican electorate (greater than 50%) does not want Trump as the nominee.”
An even greater percentage of the Republican electorate doesn’t want Cruz as the nominee.
And thus fails that worn out argument. Again.

They are WORSE, not just as bad! They have been worse because they have managed to fake honesty & sincerity and got us to consume their biennial "Presidential $hit Sandwiches!” Because not only did we hoover turds every four years for president, in the off-year elections we got to "approve" all the worthless Senators and Congressmen who have been ensconced in DC for decades w/o any real challenges to their re-election bids! If you get right down to the unvarnished truth, you could probably count the "worthy Republicans" on your fingers and have some left over.
That picture doesn’t look all that far fetched. Cruz has a kinda gay voice and Kasich was awfully close with bisexual buddies back in the day. They actually make a good couple. Cruz will go out each day and steal from the public, while Kasich stays home and plans long speeches for dinner time.
