Congratulations to our presumptive nominee, Donald Trump!

Congratulations to our presumptive nominee, Donald Trump!

Great job in New York and throughout this campaign. Cruz and Kasich are now mathematically eliminated and just like all the others who were mathematically eliminated should concede and drop out so we can all unite behind our nominee and prepare to defeat the godless America-hating traitor Hillary Clinton in November.

As conservatives and patriots, it's time to put bruised egos behind us, heal our differences and act united in the best interests of our nation. The media and the GOPe will try to keep us divided, of course, but we must not fall for their treasonous tricks.

A divided Republican party will ensure Hillary waltzes into the White House in November.

Freedom is never more than one generation from extinction. Hillary would be a third term for Obama and would complete his mission of completely destroying America.

Do not let freedom expire on our watch!!

I'm praying this forum and our loyal members will now be shifting into high gear to defend our freedom by uniting against the treasonous enemy within.

Let's get Trump over the 1237 mark and finally take the GOPe completely out of the picture!!

Then onward to the presidency in November!!

You may not like his take on the Bible, you might not agree with his conclusions, you might resent his views on authority, but claiming he is "ignorant" of the subject only leads one to ponder the question of what he knows that you don't.

Wouldn't that depend on what the Pope said about the Bible? You are ready to give the Pope a free pass without even knowing what he said. With Trump, we do know what he said.

Think about this for a moment. How realistic do you think it is for anyone to raise $20 trillion in capital over the next four years? Over the last eight years, our government has had to print up $10 trillion in new money because people with existing dollars were not willing to invest in America.

Let's say that Trump becomes President and decides to hold an auction next year. The Chinese and the Saudis and the Europeans show up with their dollars ready to scoop up American bargains. First off is the UN followed by the Hoover Dam and Yellowstone Park. These get some heavy bidders, and maybe together they bring in $1 trillion. Architects from the UAE began to create a new skyline where the UN stood. Chinese engineers turn Yellowstone into a geothermal energy farm. And Mexico buys the Hoover Dam, sending that electricity back across the border. And we are still $19 billion short.

Next on the block is Mt. Rushmore, George Washington National Park, and the Elk Hills petroleum reserve. Oops, scratch that last one. Clinton already sold that. So the Australians bid on the forest, sending all that lumber down under. Mt. Rushmore doesn't bring in much, especially since the pool of money has already been depleted by the previous sales. As this continues, near the end there will be very few dollars chasing a heck of a lot of land still on the block. Russia will end up as the high bidder on 90% of Alaska, getting it for pennies per acre. And they will do so because there are no longer any other bidders - their money already depleted.

And then there is the nature of the debt itself. Debt is typically sold in 20-year notes. It does not need to be retired until it is due. So there is no point in selling off assets to retire a note today that won't be due until 2030.

I don’t recall either of them saying they were stepping down...

That is correct, even though neither of them can secure the 1237 delegates required for the outright win that would leave the GOPe powerless to frustrate the majority of Republican voters. Mathematically, both Kasich and Cruz, and you by extension, are acting as spoilers for the GOPe. Don't kid yourself into believing it is anything more nobel than that.

Sure it is. Now it IS possible for them to become voters. That's one hell of a difference.

The right to vote comes from the States - not from the federal government.

Well there you go! You've left out the most conspicuous bidders which would be private American citizens and corporations.

I see no need to further analyze your post if you didn't even see THAT one.

There is absolutely NO POSSIBLE WAY for Cruz to be the nominee; sans killing Trump and probably KaSicko too.

Why are you attempting to ignore the reality of the situation?

Trump shall win ALL five states, next Tuesday, most of them with over 50% of the registered GOP voters votes!

Jim Robinson has proclaimed, ON THIS THREAD OF HIS OWN POSTINGS, that it is now time to get behind Trump and drop all of the Cruz crap!

Please READ JR's header; if you can't get behind Trump now, no, you are NOT welcome here; so said THE BOSS!

How do they vote if they can't get citizenship, which does come from the federal government?

That's because you don't understand nor know the facts!

The simple TRUTH is that ONLY Trump can beat Hillary; not anyone else can!

I know that you and other Cruzites don't want accept this fact, but it is so! She plays by her own rules and debates by her own rules, which Ted has NO knowledge of and even IF he did, there isn't ANY way that HE can best her in a debate nor win enough states to be president!

Polls less far out than those out now, had Carter beating Reagan by 30 points or more.

I didn't include it for several reasons. First off, our national debt exceeds GDP. Retiring our debt in four years would require 25 cents of every dollar earned by every single person in America. Yet a majority of Americans today pay no taxes. Secondly, if you confiscated the entire net worth of the 100 richest people in the world, you would be lucky to come up with $2.5 trillion in assets. And of those assets, less than 3% would be in the form of cash, meaning that they too would have to sell assets to raise dollars to bid on US assets.

The total assets of the top ten US banks comes to $10 trillion. And if every dollar of that was used to retire the debt, you would only be half way there.

There simply isn't anywhere near $20 trillion of cash capital available in this country. It would have to come from overseas where dollars are stacked up because of our trade deficit. Yet even with both domestic and foreign available, we are still printing money just to keep our government running.

You wrongly assume that a State must require citizenship.

You are trying to play a shell game here. You are conflating debt held by foreign sources with those held by domestic sources. Furthermore, you are trying to cloud the issue with meaningless anecdotes about American taxpayers and aggregates of rich people, as well as insisting the transactions be for cash.

Settling the American debt, be it in four years or otherwise, can be negotiated: something for which Trump is known the world over.

I'm relieved nate.

And I would guess the owner of this site can exercise any discretion any way he sees fit.

Had you read with attention my original reply #873 which was directed to Jim Robinson, you might have relieved yourself of needless anxiety:

This is your forum and you can do with it as you please, that is not at issue.

No, I see it as functionally impossible without federal collusion.

You complain of "passive-agressive rhetoric" in one reply but indulge yourself in two drive-by replies in which you make broad assertions but evade specifying the alleged "disingenuous, self-refuting questions".

Look in the mirror.

If Trump does manage to win and be POTUS-How is going to get anything done without the GOPe?

He has no clue about rules and procedures so there is a real possibility that the GOPe and dems will end up leading him around by the nose.

There is a reason why EVERY president ages 15-20 years in only 4-8 years. The job is obviously extremely stressful.

Even Obama has aged at an accelerated rate. It doesn't matter which party is in power-happens to all of them.

Even presenting some simple proposal is an extremely complicated exercise in procedures, rules, and Trump will not be able to do "You're fired" to Congress if they go against him.

IMO It will be very frustrating for him to have to deal with all of the DC issues. And that's how the Gope will get their power back.

Anytime I see someone use the divisive term “GOPe”, I really lose a lot of respect for them. Say “Republican establishment” if that’s what you mean, instead of making up an insulting term. Ironically, you call for unity while using a divisive term. That sounds more like a gloating call for surrender than a true call to unity.
