Conservative icon Phyllis Schlafly has been a national leader of the conservative movement since the publication of her best-selling 1964 book, A Choice Not An Echo. She has been a leader of the pro-family movement since 1972 when she led the fight to defeat the Equal Rights Amendment. Phyllis Schlafly is 91 years-old.
On March 11, 2016 conservative icon Phyllis Schlafly endorsed Donald Trump for President at his St. Louis rally. But not everyone in her organization, Eagle Forum – or her family – agreed with Phyllis Schlafly’s decision.
Two weeks ago Phyllis Schlafly released several board members for disloyalty to the organization. The group was planning to hold rogue board meeting to take over the Eagle Forum.
Last week the rogue Cruz supporters attempted a coup at Eagle Forum. They held a non-sanctioned meeting and reportedly blocked Phyllis Schlafly from their conference call.
Today Phyllis released a video to the Eagle Forum. She’s still in charge.
“There seems to be a lot of confusion on what is going on in the ranks. I understand it was said that I was there but I only piped into the meeting to say I objected to the validity to what it’s doing. And I don’t. I’m still in charge.”
The Cruz supporters argued that Phyllis is senile and not in charge of Eagle Forum.

Try opening a history book instead of being a solipsistic dumbass. Phyllis has done more for the conservative movement in a day than you’ll ever accomplish in your life.
Because it appears you are not very up on powerful icons. The rest of us in the thread know who she is. Like was suggested above, try a google search.

I have read this forum daily for many years. I would think if she was such a powerful icon her name would have popped up once in awhile.

Donald has sent some interesting signals. He was kidding about his sister and said so at least twice. He’s said he likes Thomas. He said he believes Roe v. Wade was wrong. He has a good case from the standpoint of business, of all things. An activist court (which can come up with things like Roe v. Wade) is also going to give business a game of Calvinball to play, which is not good for it. We know the pain of business that has to plan to the next quarter rather than the next quarter century.
Perhaps because you are not a Conservative. Did you have to search for Reagan too?
Cruzies are some of the most slimy people in politics. They think their superior Conservatism justifies any action. Character no longer counts to them.

Some people get rich trough hard work and innovation. Some
through talent and shear knowledge. But some people get
rich by being liars and con-artists, taking advantage of peoples
shear ignorance. Liberalism has show time and time again
that people will support their own demise rather than admit
being played for a fool. Look what it’s done to this country.
The point is that she is the pure thing. A Conservative who seeks what is the best for preserving our traditional values, while never seeking any personal benefit for herself.
