I have read this forum daily for many years. I would think if she was such a powerful icon her name would have popped up once in awhile.

Her name does pop up once and a while. But that is not the point. It was Phyllis Schlafly, perhaps more than any other writer, who provided the Goldwater edge in the early 1960s; Phyllis Schlafly that stiffened Conservative opposition to the Equal Rights Amendment in the earluy 1980s. No matter the issue,, she has always hung tough on our side!

The point is that she is the pure thing. A Conservative who seeks what is the best for preserving our traditional values, while never seeking any personal benefit for herself.

Why on earth would you want to disparage her?

I've seen her name pop up before here several times.

I guess we all know her because we hear her daily on our Christian Radio Stations. Absolutely great messages keeping us up to date on current events. GREAT LADY

Her name pops up here all the time. I just did a keyword search, which returned eight pages of articles about her or by her. I stopped counting pages when I reached the year 2003.
