A Donald Trump-Sen. Ted Cruz unity ticket seems less likely now that Cruz told the Good Morning America audience on Monday that he has zero interest, whatsoever in being Trumps pick for vice-president.
Bonnie Pointer, who was described as an undecided voter from Vacaville, California, asked Cruz via video, Would you accept being Donald Trumps Vice President?
Cruz thanked Bonnie for her question saying, Let me just answer very simply, I have zero interest, whatsoever, in doing it.

Think he has Kasich to beat out and probably Rubio too. Just a thought...
Sadly the lying media has made Sarah unelectable, so I am certain it will not be Sarah. I was thinking Carly until she joined team Cruz. Carly is still a maybe, she’s sharp and can go toe to toe with Hillary. I think Ben Carson is still a maybe too.
He's now the proud owner of the perception of being a cheater. True or not I believe the trait sticks to him like glue.
“By far the best thing Trump could do to enhance his presidency is to appoint Cruz to the Supreme Court.”
As a Justice, oily Felito would blindly support globalism and transnationalism as reliably as the U.S. Supreme Court supported railroads in the 1880s and Japanese corporations in the 1980s. Oily Felito needs to be buried alive, as the NWO toxic spill that he truly is. He would be the Earl Warren of globalism on the SC.

Slimy lawyer politician wouldn’t even say no.
The question was simple, “would you accept?”
I had zero interest in many of my jobs too.
Hes not eligible.
“I think if Trump reaches 1237 he will take a younger person who has legislative experience. Id bet it is a woman to help drive down the negatives with women. A name that has been suggested is Susanna Martinez but well have to wait and see.”
I tend to agree. The pick will probably not be someone whose name is being bandied about. Expect a surprise, with the factors you outline.
Good! Because you're not eligible to hold that office,
much less the Presidency.
Until the moment when Cruz realizes Trump has this locked up and Trump realizes it would be good to have Cruz supporters on board to finally defeat the GOP.
And I have zero interest in you being president!
Really? When did this happen?
And Cruz has 0 % chance of getting the VP nod.
Carly perhaps, but thinking maybe not. There are better alternatives. I like the current Gov of Texas, Abbot. But Trump doesn’t need his help to win that state.
Originally thought that Kasich would be a good choice, as it fit with what Trump said in his Bob Woodward interview with regard to qualifications in a VP he’s looking for. With Kasich’s recent really odd positions, don’t think that’s a viable option.
Starting to get the feeling that Walker would be reasonable. Would help Trump in the Midwest. Also, Walker has a record of winning elections. Winning 3 statewide races in 4 years is nothing to sneeze at. Walker could be the means for Trump to throw a bone to the GOPe but still not totally tick off the conservative base.
IIRC, Cruz got less than 50% in TX!
Cruz couldn’t even break 50% in his home state. GWB exceeded 80% when he ran. That low end result of Cruz is kind of telling.
GOOD! Because you are just as ineligible to the office of vice president (Article XII) as you are to the office of president (Article II, Section 1, Clause 5).
You are a natural born CUBAN citizen, a native born CANADIAN citizen, born in CANADA.
Who, but a totally delusional person, could believe that such a person could be a “natural born” United States citizen?
Thank GOD, that the Cubanadian Ted Cruz, WILL NOT WIN the Republican nomination.
There was a time when this could have happened, but unfortunately that ship has sailed.
I predict Trump will pick Rand Paul as his VP.
Susana Martinez had an issue that occurred within the last year that may be something Trump doesn’t want to deal with. If she were to be the pick, it would have to be thrown out in the open quick to get past it. Has to do with a party at a hotel where police were sent to her room due to a noise complaint and she called 911 trying to stop the police from responding...probably nothing, but the optics are not good. She owned it and apologized, but it’s never good for an elected official to call 911 and try to use their position to stop a response...
