On Wednesday night Politico reported that Donald Trump Campaign Manager Corey Lewandowski will not be charged for a hoax assault on reporter Michelle Fields. She made it up.

Unfortunately, a lot of Cruz supporters stood with the hoaxer Fields.

Tonight Megyn Kelly blamed the Trump Campaign for Michelle Fields filing a fraudulent police report against Trump Campaign Manager Corey Lewandowski.

I considered hitting abuse on the OP, to ask the moderator to change the title to reflect the article is debunked. Then I decided it’s your problem, not mine.

I don't have the patience to find the exact moments when the Michelle Fields quote happened, but I saw it last night. Maybe it's in a different place in the 40-minute show.

However, make no mistake, PLENTY of people other than Megyn Kelly are continuing to maintain Lewandowski's guilt, including the woman who is a guest on The Kelly File:

I thought Megyn Kelly was evenly-fair in this report -- neither supporting nor trashing Fields or Trump. She pointed out that 'not pursuing prosecution' does not equal 'it didn't happen' -- which is accurate. But she did not maintain the farce that he was absolutely guilty of attacking Fields.

Well, I have to give Megyn the benefit of the doubt. Al Sharpton has been doing this for a long time, longer than she has been alive, and he knows how to play the game and wiggle out of most anything. And he knows that he will be exonerated for anything by the people who support him.

When this situation (Fields) happened, I asked a friend about it, who asked another friend, too. Word came back that it was nothing, a situation called a ‘bait,’ in which someone rushes in at the last minute. Her expression didn’t change. Security was ‘smooth.’ Apparently, there was some upset that she was able to get inside a security ring.

I decided that she didn’t want to get the story but wanted to be the story. I was angry that she would want to play with the big boys but cry like a little girl. I was also upset that she thought that she was able to maintain private space inside a security ring. Had I tried this, I would expect to be manhandled in no uncertain terms; I’m an unwashed masses person, though.
