The St. Louis County Republican Caucus was held today at the Missouri River Township Caucus at the Westminster Christian Academy – near highways 40 and 270 this afternoon.
Lloyd Sloan was at the conference today.
Here is his firsthand account:
There were two slates that were voted on today at the convention. One was called “Cruz” and the other “Trump.” So there was no confusion there. The vote took place by a public count. It’s when there is a standing vote and everybody is counted off. It is pretty above board. The vote was tied, 27-27. But a few people in the center of the room did not vote. One guy got up and voted for Trump. So Trump won the standing vote.
I proposed a motion to combine the two slates. The chair chose to ignore my motion. It was seconded but the chair, Mark Dunn, decided to ignore the motion.
At that point the chair entertained a motion to do a secret ballot because he was a Cruzer and the wrong guy won. The motion was presented by the head of the Cruz delegation who put together and submitted the Cruz slate. It was seconded and voted on.
And, surprise! Cruz won the secret ballot!
At that point I led a small group of Trump people from the room, saying, “You wanted a divided party. You got one.”
The delegates plan to contest the results. We are collecting evidence to show what exactly happened.
I saw what I saw. I walked out. It was highly irregular.

You Trumpites, i ddn’t hear you bitching when you won 80 plus percent of Missouri delegates on the first ballot with 0.2 % plurality. What is it, you only bitch and cry when you lose or the rules dont produce your desired outcome?

Defending possible vote fraud by saying everyone should do it and people that don’t should not be entrusted with power...an interesting moral position. How does one find their way to having it?

At a certain point, the only recourse Trump supporters may have is to identify the perpetrators of this fraud and publish their personal information.

Time to start publishing the names, phone numbers, and addresses of the perpetrators. How much are they willing to risk, personally, to overturn the will of the voters?

If it takes Kasich’s delegates for Trump to win, so be it.

For weeks I have been cautioning Trumpites against premature celebration, to no avail. In a way it’s reasuring since I know I’ll have the last laugh.

Disgusting and nothing to be proud of. Sure if Cruz were a Democrat it would be expected to play so dirty and disenfranchise actual primary voters. Will NEVER vote for Cruz. He’s on another level of dirtiness and look at who Cruz surrounds himself with? Beck and his campaign manager are very anti-Christian in their actions.

I can not yet quite accept that the Cruz delegates, who will so quickly claim God, Country, and apple pie will deny TRUMP supporters in a stand-up majority vote, as in *this* case in MO, and then turn around and replace that *voice* vote with a “secret ballot” and SECOND vote, that overturns the voice majority, switches the outcome, and gives no quarter to the noisy point of order protest.
Then they stand back and claim “process” trumps democracy, the Primary outcome, and now the delegate majority for TRUMP. TRUMP supporters are told they are ignorant of the process, but seem to be smart enough to film THEFT.
ON FILM!! It’s MOSCOW out there with the local heavies, as well as state and national.

This sounds like a Christian version of taqiyya, except that while sinning in the name of one's religion is said to be permitted by the Koran, I don't think it's Biblical.
Actually, this could be the key to Cruz winning the general election. If he can promote a morality-free version of Christianity, this will appeal to a lot of Democrats and he'll pick up crossover votes. There is only a minor downside here in that the kind of Democrats who would go for this are more likely to be thugs rather than the honest blue-collar types that Trump has been courting. But all's fair in war. /s
