Laura Bush, the former first lady, has hinted she would rather vote for Hillary Clinton than Donald Trump, saying she wants the next American president to be someone who cares about women in Afghanistan.
The Democratic front-runner is the only female candidate left in the race and visited Afghanistan four times during her stint as Secretary of State.

Until Osama Bin Ladin intervened and changed his trajectory, Bush was on-target to become the biggest spending big-government Republican in history.
There was a lot more in the pipeline where that prescription drug program came from.

Pat's 1992 Convention Speech someday soon might be raised to the stature of Reagan's "The Speech" but that is just me... I was a big Pat supporter but he was labeled an anti-semite here and Pat supporters were really discouraged from posting pro pat stuff.

No...it's logic. As a businessman, Trump was smart and right to support those who make his businesses easier to run and increase the potential for profit.
As an insider politician, Cruz needs to grease the palms of the hands that feed him. Enter the Bush cartel. Trump was a buyer. Cruz was a seller.
That's the difference.

*** I am certain GWB did more to help those women ***
How, by starting a war in their country? No offense, but he should have bombed Saudi Arabia. It should be like Japan was over there right now. Bush helped no one. Not the Afghanistan women, and he damn sure didn’t help us.
Whoever up thread said the next President needs to care about Americans, I agree 110%. Everybody else needs to sit down, shut up, and stay out of the way.

We are going to have to figure out some way to unite behind whoever wins the nomination, Simple enough just get the loser Cruz to drop out and and endorse Trump. Either that or explain how he is doing anything other than committing to the destruction of Trump and his followers, since he has zero chance of winning unless he can get t a brokered convention where he has even less chance of becoming the nominee.

That's the thing, the elites (the uniparty) aren't really divided, that's all for show, to keep the country divided, because it would not bode well for them if this country ever united against them.

And it says even more of their disregard for Americans that the same people who have such "concern" for women living thousands of miles away from them, whose problems don't touch their lives, want to import one of the primary causes of those women's problems here, to the US-the Muslim males-to inflict upon the ordinary women of America. That's their "solution" to their oh-so-sensitive "concern" for those women, nevermind American women.

And the #OnlyTrump contingent quickly weighs in. Will the #NeverTrump contingent be far behind?
We are screwed. Our only hope is that there are more pissed off #OnlyBernie voters than there are pissed off #OnlyTrump or #Never Trump voters.

I agree. Their solution seems to be to import all the problems to America’s “magic dirt”.
I suppose once they’ve emptied all those countries of the people to America’s magic dirt, we Americans can go there and start another democratic republic, but I don’t like the idea. They have some nasty snakes that make ours look like furry pets.

I was just wondering today, how, out of a huge nation of people as wonderful as many Americans, that the current crop is the best we can do as leader of the free world. It’s too bad you have to be connected and/or hugely wealthy to even think of running for national office, because we could get some good people in the pipeline otherwise.
