LOL. I have to say that I’ve liked watching Bill on the campaign trail. He’s rusty. He puts his foot in his mouth and, as this shows, he is completely off message from his wife’s campaign. I guess this could be some shrewd political good cop / bad cop calculation, but that would be giving the Clinton campaign too much credit. What was a finely calibrated political machine in the 1990s is a jalopy today.

I think he knows if Hitlery has to go against Trump, Trump is going to bring up Bill multiple sexual assaults and rape and he don’t wanna go through that just so she can play President.

I can document years of FR posts where I note that Bill will, in the end, always sabotage his wife’s chances of being President because he wants to be the only Clinton President.

I think you have it. The Clintons know America is revolted by the Black Lives Matter nonsense, but they also know Hillary needs the black vote and is going to have to go far, far left to keep up with Bernie. So Hillary “stands with” them on the campaign trail while Bill sends the other signal.

I share your sentiment. Not only does Bill not want his old dirty laundry brought out again, but the bigger reason is he doesn’t want her outshining him in historical context simply for being the first female president.
