Cruz's reception in New York was chilly.
Back in January, Ted Cruz made the mistake of assuming the rest of America still hates New York. His dismissal of "New York values" didn't endear him to the Empire State — Governor Cuomo demanded an apology from Cruz, and the New York Daily News did what the New York Daily News does best — and as expected, the comment came back to haunt him as he campaigned in the Bronx on Wednesday.
Meanwhile, at a massive rally in Long Island, Donald Trump, who's polling ahead of Cruz in New York by a wide margin, used the senator's remarks against him. "Do you remember during the debate when he started lecturing me on New York values like we're no good?" Trump asked the crowd. "Folks, I think you can forget about him."

Cruz was 100% correct.

It’s all about delegate Cruz people. Remember your big mouths yelling that? Well I want trump to get those 95 delegates.
They are in denial because they share NY values. The rest of America not so much.
Because he always had a chance of picking them up in both the primary and the general.
But that would be unPresidential. Unless of course his name was Donald Trump.

You left off the donations Trump - as a businessman - made to Republicans like Bed cRuz.
Every NJ and NYer I’ve spoken with (have to travel their quite often) LOVE Trump and do NOT like Lyin’ cRuz.
One cabby was hilarious, when he found out I am from TX....he said, “Texas?? That’s where Ted Cruz is from...he LIES!!”
Got such a kick out of that.

I am watching him at a school giving a speech to a bunch of high school kids who look to have been forced to go to their gym.

While on FR it may be cool to draw a line around a part of the nation and heap all types of scorn on them for simply being where they are, to most Americans it really is seen as being rude.
After Ted raises some Wall St. money I expect to see him move on to April 26 states. His super pacs will stay behind to try to do damage
If cRuz doesn’t care for NY values, he should stay out of NY.
Curious thing....what Cruz said just months ago is no longer relevant, but what Trump did or said years ago is up to the minute relevant.
He has given FAR MORE to conservatives since his change to conservative than he has given to democrats.
And, as he has said. To operate business in America, you must play the game that’s set before you.
