Cruz’z best bet are the outlying communities of NY...where the people are far more conservative that otherwise in this liberal state.

But he’s basically there to dance on Trups turf....keep Trump there while his ground crew works the delegates in the states Trumps cancelled the events.

None will ever beat the ‘chalkboard fingernail elements’ associated with Sarah Palin....no one can even come close to matching that shrill! and I’ll hear Cruz any day rather than the voice of Grandmaw Hillary!!!!

Found this photo gallery link to the “rallY’ at the Christian Academy :http://www.dailygazette.com/photos/galleries/2016/apr/07/ted-cruz-mekeel-christian-academy/61665/

Looks like teachers were attending too. I guess that would make sense.

So if your a Trumpster, you really should at least understand the stakes

We do know the stakes, dumb dumb. That's why 80 percent of FReepers aren't supporting Cruz anymore. They know that all this manipulation is on behalf of the GOPe. So Cruz is willing to lie about his position on trade, immigration, about Trump, whatever, to do his master's bidding, because he's owned by Goldman Sachs-- an entity so corrupt they actively encourage salesmen (according to former salesmen) to sell junk stocks in order to get the highest possible profit, and that the culture of Goldman Sachs is so corrupt, that only the most vicious vultures can get into any kind of higher position. IOW, Heidi Cruz.

So Cruz is not wasting time and money on NY once you understand the stakes.

But he will be mathematically eliminated ... then what exactly are the stakes ...

He should just run on an honest platform at that point ...

“My message and platform is not resonating with the voters, I will loose to Trump ... so now my goal is to prevent Trump from getting enough votes to get to 1237, and hope my backdoor efforts pay off. This is how a second place finisher uses the political system (God bless our system) to achieve the goal of thwarting the will of the people. Thanks for your wasted vote y’all ... and remember ... a vote for me is a vote for not Trump ... because I hate Trump more than I love America.”

I find it ironic that Cruz and his campaign are critical of Trump’s attitude...

Trump loves the country! For him, it is about National Sovereignty versus globalism...he loves the USA which is why he will not take the $400,000 salary.

Nothing beats the two voices Ted emotes every time he speaks.

Liberace and Fred Haney from Green Acres.

I don’t recall you complaining when Sarah was pushed McCain for re-election to the Senate.

NY is trumps state so of course he should win it big. Everyone loves him there, right. If he doesn’t get over 50% he’s in big trouble.

She must be quite the piece of work.

This duo is the new SHRILLARY! and Bill.

Except younger.

HELL NO

The RNC is comprised of confidence men and their greedy pulled back wives.

I had the misfortune of having this bunch of degenerate scumbags invade the hotel I was staying at in 2012 for their “Winter Meeting”.

Ill fitting suits, backroom dirty deals, these are the cream of the used car salesmen and payday loan scumbags, working to ROB THE WORKING CLASS.

My point is that I felt like taking a shower even LOOKING at these POS.

They are evil on steroids, not our friends.

Well ..we’ll just leave Sarah’s irritating voice as a matter of opinion...but it’s no secret it wasn’t her, lets say, strong point....As for Ted’s voice....it’s neither here nor there for me.

I don’t care for her voice either.

I was one of the only people addressing it in 2010, when John McCain was actually being defended here by some folks.

Sarah was resoundingly defended for endorsing him.

I thought it was a crock. That ended my respect for her right there.

She has endorsed Trump, and I know there are some people out there that still respect her, so I don’t go after her.

I will tell you, I can’t watch her or Cruz talk for more than about 15 seconds. At that point I’m frantically looking for a mute button.

Well, I have to say that as the student body was there, the staff was there, and many of the parents of the students at this Christian Academy were there - as well as media and Cruzs entourage, at “nearly” 1000 attendees (according to local press) that means between 300-350 “outsider” supporters were there. NOT a big success.

If Trump were to hold a rally in such an area it would be massive. Comparatively there is no comparison.

It is what is is.

These are people interested in hearing what Cruz has to say.....unlike Trump rallies where people attend to see a celebrity... and there were plenty who attend/ed who have no intention of voting Trump. Why do you think he started to require that they say they were supporters on entry. His campaign knew his celebrity was getting in the way of an honest count...which was fine for the media exposure...but not in any way an indication of who the voters would actually be.

Cruz's campaign has been all along and planned as a Grassroots campaign.....he knew that would require one on one with the voters, explaining and talking the issues they needed and wanted to hear....in smaller groups with an occasional larger (Rally) when thought good to arrange. He's where he is as second because of his ground game....and second is a very good spot and allows a lot more manuverability.....where he's been also working the delegates from the get go. Two very different campaigns.....one is based on careful planning, a large team and organization par excellence. and because of this, and as the game moves to convention Cruz can out-hustle Trump's team to flip delegates and win the nomination on the floor...and flipping delegates is a large part of the game.

“Delegates love Cruz.” Actually, Trump has 46% of the delegates, to date.

“Voters love trump.” Actually, Trump has won 37% of the vote, to date.

Trump has done very well with his delegate count relative to his vote count, and most of the voters have not chosen him. He is not growing in popularity, in reality, and he is not that strong a frontrunner.
