Don’t feel slighted about not having chalk in your Easter basket, I never did either (I don’t think they even made the fat sidewalk chalk back then - we used to use regular chalk to draw our hopscotch squares). I think the Easter Bunny has been influenced by Moochelle the past few years and instead of bringing all candy in our baskets is bringing chalk, Frisbees and other such items and less candy.

I didn’t know chalk was often placed in baskets, oh my, now I feel my childhood was missing something, I NEVER received chalk in my baskets!! WELL today I am going to make up for it !!!! I will know in the AM how many of my neighbors are with us!!! The ones that are not will have their hoses out first thing!!!

I did a search yesterday online to see if I could see anything - from what I could tell there wasn’t anything on the front cover. I need to go to the store today (in between Trump rallies ;-) and I’ll see if they have one I can thumb through.

Very well said! Trump is only a hammer. We the people either use the hammer to fix the problems, or the country will continue to become a 3rd world country. I have personally observed the world class infrastructure in some Asian countries such as Singapore, Hong Kong etc. 30 years ago, when I returned to United States from visiting other countries, it was a grand feeling to return back. Not any more. The airports are so-so, the roads are full of pot holes, bridges look old, and the trains are a joke.
A career politician beholden to his ultra-rich donors and a constitutional lawyer has no clue how to bring us back to former glory. It will take an accomplished builder, and a successful business who knows how to balance budgets and watch the bottom line.

Iirc Fred trump addressed this issue with Nyc builders and federal money. The payment of local politicians to do the job. He was called in front of congress under IN Caphart? Eisenhower was trying to clean up the Truman fiasco. If only Dewy had won!

I found it most interesting that Carpenter was given credit/blame for coming up with the Carson Theft idea even though she’d left the campaign months earlier and was working for CNN at the time. I did some searches but could not find a person who had been associated with the campaigns mentioned at a high enough level to be listed on websites, i.e. such as Communications Director. But Cruz has a big staff and this person could easily have been one level down, thus hidden from my easy searches. However, it should be discoverable.
Why would CNN pay a commentator who is billed as “a former Cruz staffer” if that person is still actively involved in the campaign at the Iowa Caucuses?
On the other hand, they had no idea weeks in advance that Carson would be going home to Florida for fresh clothes or whatever. That came from CNN. Just a coincidence I’m sure...
