Former Arkansas Gov. Mike Huckabee, Trump’s one-time rival in the presidential campaign, discussed the topic on the radio Thursday with Fox News host Brian Kilmeade — and offered a ringing defense for the campaign manager.
Kilmeade began the segment by stating that Lewandowski had been arrested, when he was abruptly cut off by Huckabee proclaiming, “Whoa, whoa, whoa, he was not arrested.”
“That has been said, he was not arrested,” Huckabee continued. “He was charged and he walked himself in. There was no ‘arrest,’ no perp walk, no handcuffs, no mugshot.”

The press has no compunction about being hypocrites. It has accomplished the desired affect against Trump with the accusation of violence against Fields, and now will move on to amplify that accusation with the next story, the lawsuit in Kentucky.
All the while, violence at approved candidates' rallies will go without repetition.
Just saying, "consistency" is never part of the press calculus when creating and maintaining the narrative.
It was pointed out yesterday that the picture of arm. Was just that an arm any arm. There is no proof that it was her arm No face or other body part with clothing to connect the arm to her is visible.
Why does she have “fingerprint” bruises on TOP of her forearm.
If Lewandowski grabbed her, the bruises would appear on the BOTTOM of the forearm, not the top.
The biggest paradigm shift is social media. The press simply no longer has control over the narrative. Trump has over 15 million on his social media. With re-tweets probably over 30 million.
People are already very, very leery of media so they go to the web to find out what is happening.

Exactly. Every single sentence uttered by the Media regarding Donald Trump is overtly slanted, just like the vast majority of the post by Trump-haters on this forum.
I've never seen anything like it, and I believe a lot of the American People are seeing through this transparent, ongoing effort at systematic character assassination.
I can only hope that it backfires in the faces of those who think that it's a legitimate strategy, because it is not legitimate, and, if successful, it will have a toxic effect on GOP voter turnout in the November election.
It's like I said in my vanity a few days ago: the GOPe, by adopting these scorched earth tactics, has probably already guaranteed the creation of a situation where millions of voters will end up disenfranchised, their votes spurned by an unholy alliance between the Left, Media, Establishment, GOPe, and, of course, a soulless, amoral Cruz campaign.
Slanted coverage such as we're seeing regarding Donald Trump has become so pervasive and routine that most of the country is taking notice of it, and even some who don't support Donald Trump are saying "enough is enough" with the constant demonization.
They truly have no decency, and long ago, they left Donald Trump in the wake as far as who is exhibiting the most amoral and despicable behavior in this campaign.
Donald Trump looks like a friggin' Saint, compared to what's being fomented by the pathetic coalition of haters who are his enemies.
Not as much, but a substantial part of what makes its way to social media, gets there due to press emphasis in the first place.

I would not count on that. The meme that has been and is being pushed is that Trump encourages violence, and Trump followers are unhinged. More people believe that now, than would have if the press had reported honestly.

I’m a law enforcement officer. He had to be arrested in order to be booked for a crime. Yes he walked in. But legally that is considered an arrest and his record “should”(I don’t know Florida law) reflect that arrest. The term we use here is ‘walk in Arrest’
Of course he wasn’t arrested, or you would see the booking photo 24/7 on every station in the country, and on the front page of every paper. The propaganda war continues.
