Actress Debra Messing unloaded on fellow actor Susan Sarandon this week after Sarandon said in an interview that she wouldnt necessarily vote for Democratic presidential frontrunner Hillary Clinton if her chief rival Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-VT)16% does not win the nomination.
In an interview with MSNBCs Chris Hayes on Monday, Sarandon said that she is going to see what happens if Sanders falls to Clinton in the primary, indicating she may not vote for Clinton in the general election.
You know, some people feel that Donald Trump will bring the revolution immediately, Sarandon told Hayes. If he gets in then things will really explode. Some people feel that.
Sarandons comments apparently angered Messing, a staunch Hillary Clinton supporter who took issue with Sarandons seeming semi-endorsement of Trump over Clinton (an endorsement that Sarandon later clarified)
The two actresses sent some messages back and forth on Twitter, but according to Us, the feud escalated when Messing retweeted someone whod written: @DebraMessing = national treasure. @SusanSarandon = national embarrassment.
Messing later deleted the retweet but drew return fire from Sarandon, who tweeted:now RT-ing personal attacks. Cool.

Hollywood attacking itself. Get me some popcorn.
Trump is better for the country.
Debra Messing ✔ @DebraMessing She can vote for whomever she likes. My problem is hypocrisy- saying you advocate for women, minorities&considering Donald Trump
Justice comes in strange places...in the pool of Hollywood liberals. The sharks are eating each other...a good sign for the fight against liberalism.
these people don’t realize that if the revolution comes, they’re the elites and will be the first ones that are in trouble :-)
Sounds like FR lately . . .
Debra who?
Art imitates politics.
LOL @ her ego.
Susan has already rushed out to clarify that she has NOT,NOT endorsed or expressed approval of The Donald in any way. She deeply regrets that some have misunderstood her comments!!
Not that I give a walnut one way or another, but I too was surprised when I read she was speaking of him favorably.
Most appropriately named woman in the world: Debra Messing.
And she's modest, too.
National Treasure was a lousy movie.
The over the hill gang has spoken and I’m still voting Trump.
I was just waiting for Debra Messing to weigh in on this.
I guess Debra is still cashing residual checks from somewhere!
Who is little Debbie to tell anyone else who they can and cannot support. What a little dictator she is.
And voting for (rape excusing and enabling) Hillary while claiming to advocate for women is not hypocrisy?
We need a new reality TV show: Has-been Hollywood Hussy Hissy Fit.
