The answer is Rush took the easy way out.He sat back and took shots at everyone else didn't get his hands dirty and run for office or get out and help others like Palin has. He appears jealous of Trump could explain a lot of what he his doing.

By the way, Rush just answered his own question on why Cruz now seems to be out polling Trump in Wisconsin? The establishment is now pushing Cruz as a block on Trump. If successful, they’ll then dump both at the convention.

So Ted is MARRIED to someone who is a large part of the problem in our country.
The company Ted's wife is part of is a major problem for our country and Ted will back that same culture his wife works for. The company has been prominent in the Obama administration in key positions and is a long time advocate of the status quo.
So if Ted ever won in let's say 2024, we'd genuinely be screwed as citizens. Cruz winning is also putting that company his wife works for into power even more.
Cruz married someone that would be the equivalent Donald being married to Soros. With Trump you have a private company that has worked hard and done well. You are getting the man TRUMP who did t ALL, not the back stabbing GOPe or though Cruz the corruption IMO of Goldman Sachs.

Lol, what complete BS. Cruz has been running for president since he made it into the Senate. And that so-called filibuster against Obamacare (zero chance of success) was nothing but a Cruz publicity stunt and material for later TV ads in a presidential run (which Cruz has used often).
Cruz spent (wasted) a lot of time in the Senate establishing himself as someone who stood up to the "Washington cartel". And he used those publicity stunts to gain name recognition. And he announced well before anyone else to gain name recognition.
He was far from an unknown when he announced for the presidency.
I think it goes back further to the removal of prayer in public school. That set us up for the slide into the abyss. Just my opinion.
