The answer is Rush took the easy way out.He sat back and took shots at everyone else didn't get his hands dirty and run for office or get out and help others like Palin has. He appears jealous of Trump could explain a lot of what he his doing.
You could be right. Rush has never been a movement leader, more like a sideline sniper. I guess I was comfortable with that until this election. I don’t know if Rush changed or I did but it has changed.
Rush seems to me, to be a very unhappy person. He has become petty, childish and manipulative towards his audience. That is what finally made me turn him off. He now behaves like the “drive by media” he said he always despised.
The animosity he displays towards Trump seems personal and it does appear like jealousy.
