Things have gotten way out of control here as of late. You know as well as most of us, that this war must end and end now, or your forum will end up being nothing more than a joke.
I humbly suggest that you not just request, but demand, that everyone step back and take a serious look at the slanderous comments being made by both camps. Debate is one thing, but what is happening is no longer a debate. This forum is on the verge of a civil war. A war that need not happen. For the good of this great forum, I and many I have talked to on both sides of the war admit things have gone too far.
I am a Ted Cruz supporter, yet I call on all my fellow Cruz supporters to put the knives back in the sheaths, as I ask the same of all you Trump supporters.
This civil war of Freeper against Freeper must end, or the result will inevitably be a complete destruction of this once great forum.
I begin by laying down my weapons as a gesture of good will. From hence forth I will not post any comments that are just knee jerk angry remarks that only serve to fuel the fires of hate and animosity.
We all have a common enemy in this fight, the eventual Democrat Presidential Nominee. I suggest we all remember this, because a house divided upon itself cannot stand, nor defeat the enemy.
I also offer this promise to everyone. Should Trump win the nomination, I promise to fight as hard, and as passionate, for him to become POTUS as I will for Cruz.

And I can not support a candidate who has brazenly confessed to bribing numerous officials, thus becoming an integral part of the very culture of corruption that engulfs the entire system and threatens the survival of the Republic.

Maybe if Trump didn’t go after him, he would have dropped out. It got personal and Cruz will deny Trump the nomination.

Count me in on this. Neither Cruz or Trump are the enemy. The enemies are the vulture of Islam and his 3 bitches in the white hut.
I’ve been blasted and ridiculed for making a candidate-neutral statement. Only thing I can figure is some people are just looking for a fight.
I think there is a very good chance that Trump will go to the convention with less than 1237, lose the first vote, and Cruz wins the second vote. Mind you this is fair and square. FR as well as the GOP might well be burned to the ground. The road ahead is really really rough. I like it here at FR but things might change dramatically.
I am a strong Cruz supporter. I am civil when I post and in return I am insulted and called names by Trump supporters. In the responses thus far, it is mostly Trump followers who do not want a truce and some have continued to spread filthy unsubstantiated rumors. That is my experience and I also find it disheartening.
We finally have a true Constitutional Conservative running and he is mocked, scorned and slandered. I used to think there could perhaps be an alliance between Trump and Cruz but no longer think it is possible.
The old hag must be vanquished at all cost.

If Cruz should happen to run in the general and gets hung on that by the Dems as he will be ... the faults on them..... you told them.... I told them .... we’ve all warn them.... they’re not going to hear it
So to survive to the general with one of the other is better than killing each other off and letting GOPe pick
But if Cruz makes it to the general and gets taken out for not being NBC he’s done in politics forever for setting us up for that....
my fear is he’ll be blackmailed and compromise knowing that they can pull the plug on him in the DC demgop party owned Supreme Court anytime they feel like it for not being NBC if he doesn’t play ball on certain things...
and we all know that’s illegal labor trade globalism... follow the money ..there’s been political assassinations for a lot less ...
so if he would ever get in... he need to be selectively compliant on issues they want or they pull the plug on him in a most ugly ....it’s his Achilles heel ...a kill switch they can throw any time... to that end we have to be very selective about Cruz VP choice if he ever made it... Else Cruz is just a delivery vehicle for a Demgop globalist party president choice via being the VP when Cruz get clocked for not being NBC

I think web all have to realize that above all else a Hillary or a Sanders can not get into the white house... At some point a certain percentage of freepers are going to have to vote for someone that they would rather not vote for. There is no real choice if you look at the democratic candidates. you have a career criminal with Hillary Clinton, who has taken over 500 million in bribes in the last 8 years through speaking fees and her husbands sham charity “the Clinton foundation” and you have a socialist who does not understand economics and leans more communist then any other democrat who has ran before
this election is big we have a lot at stake
1. supream court balance is about to tip from constructionist to anon constructionist
2. are Military is a mess with the upper ranks being purged of anyone who voiced opposition to the policy of the last president and policies being put into place that deoes ongoing damage to the fighting capabilities,
3. we have a multigenerational war with Islam that the democratic party does not want to acknowledge.
4. we have the internal revenue service being used politically.
5. we have a Illegal alien problem that has the potential of destroying this country.
6. we have a trade imbalance that is not being addressed by our politicians.
There are more issues and we have to remind ourselves that only a party that works together can win.

If you haven’t noticed lately, 0bama approval rating is way up. Trump and Cruz with their nastiness, are making him look good
And yes, I have seen BHO approval rating. Only Trump and to an extent Cruz could do what BHO’s policies couldn’t
