Greta Van Susteren and her “On the Record” panel discussed the battery charges against Campaign Manager Corey Lewandowski today by a Florida court.
Greta started the segment by playing Donald Trump’s presser with reporters today on the Michelle Fields hoax. Trump told reporters,
“ “I’m not going to let a person’s life be destroyed over somebody that we have on tape. And you just take a look at what people are saying when they see that incident on tape. And no jury, in my opinion, no jury would convict a man and destroy a man over what you had here.”
Tonight former homicide detective Ted Williams and former prosecutor Katie Phang joined Greta to discuss the case.
Greta and her guests all agreed there is no way they can win this case in court and the only reason Corey was charged was because he is associated with Donald Trump. Greta said,
“In my wildest dreams I don’t see how a jury ever convicts on this with all the ambiguity. In fact, it looks like two Secret Service who were protecting Donald Trump are reaching for her. I don’t know whether or not that is what is provoking the bruises or not. That’s the problem. Here’s your reasonable doubt right there.”

The police’s action are based upon the report she filed. The DA charge is based on the police’s action. All fall back on Fields “filing a false report.” Around here that has major consequences.
Since there is now an affidavit by the USSS and film of the event showing she made contact first and was initially can’t acted by the federal agents the judge will have an easy decision

There is no “reasonable” doubt in this video. First of all there is NO DOUBT whatsoever! NOTHING illegal HAPPENED.
Yet, IF you insist on seeing something, (that isn’t there), in this video, any doubt you might have would be “UNREASONABLE”.

Besides, I think they are lying. It is possible that the event was so inconsequential that they do not even remember. In addition, the reporter said she was almost thrown to the ground. So when they denied that happened, that means they weren’t lying.

The woman claims were false. She wasn’t “pushed to the ground”, and she clearly didn’t almost fall or lose her balance or anything close to it. The tape shows what really happened.
The poor lady is being proven to be both a FOOL and a LIAR. She’s clearly working for the never trump campaign, maybe even the Democrats.
Thanks for that. I always thought it was the job of the Media to try to get the story and they accepted the jostling as part of the job. They elbow each other out of the way trying to get to the front, etc. One accepts the risk of being man- handled if one breaks the SS line protection of a person running for POTUS.

I wouldn't have brought charges but that's me.....However it does not excuse both Corey and Trump from publicly lieing to smear the reporter.

However, publicly lieing about a reporter in an attempt to smear her, that ends up costing her a job could get a bit expensive for Donnie. She can sue for defamation, both of them. They both publicly stated a Lie.
Even after the Video is released they haven't corrected their statements. However Donnie's comments about the event yesterday was different than his original 'She made it up' allegation. Now it's 'how do we know where she got those bruises'.

Have you read here police complaint. She is delusional. She was not thrown to the floor etc etc She simply was stopped by two officers on either side and Corey moved in between her and Trump and act of protecting the candidate

With just the photos and video in this thread, it is absolute PROOF that Michelle Fields is a LIAR!
It didn’t happen as she has said it did. Lewandowsky was justified in pulling her away from Trump. She had been warned by TWO SS guys already. She was still in the way, keeping Lewandowsky from being up by Trump.
She was a potential threat, who refused to move away from Trump, so she was moved. Tough $hit! Not jerked, not thrown to the floor, or “almost” thrown to the floor.

I would think getting beat with billy clubs might rate somewhat higher than getting moved by Corey Lewandowsky.
