While this may be a central tenet of your faith it is not true of everyone. People verbalize things differently. Many people are moral beings who strive to do the right thing and admit their faults without seeking forgiveness from God in a formal or demonstrative way.

I think a person’s relationship with God is a very private thing and to even ask a person whether they ask God for forgiveness is extremely intrusive.

That the difference between a man and a boy. The man trump owned it. The boy Cruz is defecting and covering it up.

“Per his own admission.”

Exactly. Which is why nobody cares. Trump is not running on the platform. “I am the anointed messenger of Jesus Christ.”

I am supporting Donald Trump. However, I feel a moral duty to denounce the idea of such a poll, as a not even subtle attempt to spread malicious gossip. This poll really does focus attention on a nasty side show, that will eventually be seen as a moral embarrassment to America.

In asking this question, the pollsters imply that candidates should be subject to a public query as to who believes the current gossip about their private lives. Is that really the sort of war on privacy & sensibility? Alternatively, does anyone think that those taking such a poll have the true innocence to be passing judgment over anyone--whether the gossip they spotlight is true or false?

More important, where America is at stake. Does anyone think this sort of "issue," is what we need to focus on, when our heritage is being systematically undermined--our public institutional heritage is being destroyed--by Leftwing demagogues?

Remember Cruz is the anointed one. He is holier than thou. A good pure conservative Christian family man. He tells us so and so do his supporters. It is one of the main points of his campaign.

Donald Trump lived his life in public view there is nothing hidden he is not a false prophet hypocrite like Ted Cruz.

When did Trump perjure himself? Obstruct justice? Abuse power?

Trump is nothing like Clinton.

“Politicians having affairs isn’t a big deal,”

Yes, individuals are sometimes unfaithful and that is fairly well accepted as long as it remains known only to a few.

However, civilized societies will always condemn unfaithfulness because when it rises above some level it becomes damaging to a society and disheartening to those trying to lead a good life.

In speaking publicly you can’t do anything but condemn unfaithfulness. Those that publicly say it’s unimportant lower themselves.

You create hashtags by slapping a hashtag in front of it and sending it in a tweet.

I wouldn’t plan on meeting Him on good terms if you don’t ask. That’s why Jesus died on the cross, to forgive us of our sins.

but lets say that is not the case. Lets say he "strayed" multiple times and covers it up every time and is still denying it to try to gain some political advantage.

That makes him a cheating lying sleeze who can't be trusted on anything. So much for the good Christian family man. He is not worth a vote for any public office

Yes, but we need to know if he(Trump) has had more affairs. Trump should be asked for an update. In fact, all the candidates should be asked. We had 17 Republican candidates for the nomination. All of them should have been asked up front at the first debate. And we should extend this even further. All employers should be asking this of the people they hire.

You are being disingenuous. Affairs and other peccadilloes are quite relevant if there is any possibility of blackmail or coercion. That is particularly trenchant in a person running for the POTUS. Many believe that Obama had secrets and his actions were constrained and shaped by his desire not to have his secrets exposed. Do we want to start that all over again? A President gives up a large porion of his/her privacy while running & serving, its the nature of the game.

Then you should believe the first part of what I said. If not than you are being disingenuous.

So do you?

“Focus on the goal. Cruz and Trump are the only viable candidates running at the moment. The establishment is hell bent on undermining the current front runner. The establishment has no hold over Trump. “

Cruz was viable for me at the beginning. Now, I cannnot stand him and even though I said if it is Trump or Cruz I would vote for either one. I can’t say that anymore. I honestly don’t know if I can vote for Cruz.
