Ted Cruz declined to answer a question on Monday about whether he has ever been unfaithful to his wife Heidi.
'Senator Cruz,' DailyMail.com asked him, 'can you please swat down more definitively this National Enquirer piece by telling us on the record that you've never been unfaithful to your wife?'
The National Enquirer published a story last Wednesday that speculated about five women with whom the Republican presidential candidate was rumored to have had extramarital affairs.
Cruz has batted down the specifics of the story on numerous occasions since it appeared in supermarket checkout lanes.
But instead of making a blanket declaration that he has been faithful during the entirety of his 14-year marriage – a move that would effectively end the vicious news cycle – Cruz stood silently as campaign surrogate Carly Fiorina leapt in to intercept the question and change the subject.

I have to point out that IF LusTED blinked five different women other than his wife of 14 years and then ran for president with the slogan ‘TrusTED’ and touted himself as the gold standard of Christian values while believing that those indiscretions would never become public, then I would have to conclude, if true, that he is not very smart, and would border on ineptly stupid. Shades Gary Heart and John Edwards.

Because I have noticed that Mr. Trumps supporters, similar to Mr.Trump, have a tendency to make assertions that just are not true. Sort of like when Mr. Trump asserted unequivocally that he would save 300 billion from the evil pharma industry by reforming the waste and abuse in Medicare. Never mind that Medicare does not even spend half that much.

They are all scumbags. Uncorrupted people don’t run for office above the county level. The power and money corrupts everyone who is exposed to it.
So, once you get past that fact of life, then you seek out the scumbag who either stays bought or shares your concerns. Trump recognizes that we have taken a good thing like globalism too far and now it is destroying us and he wants to dial it back a bit so Americans can see a future that isn’t socialist.
