Ted Cruz dodges question about whether he's 'always been faithful' to his wife ...

Ted Cruz dodges question about whether he's 'always been faithful' to his wife as endorser Carly Fiorina leaps in to insist a declaration that he's not an adulterer is a 'dance to Donald trump's tune'

Texas senator could put National Enquirer scandal to rest with a simple statement that he has never strayed in his 14-year marriage

Instead he has batted down the supermarket tabloid's speculative story about five alleged affairs in a more limited fashion

Carly Fiorina leaped in to intercept DailyMail.com's request for a blanket statement of marital fidelity and Cruz ultimately punted on the question

Fiorina pleaded for a return to discussing issues, but lobbed her own accusation at 'serial adulterer' Donald Trump

Cruz also challenged Trump to a one-on-one debate in Wisconsin on Tuesday night: 'Why don't you show up and debate like a man?'

Ted Cruz declined to answer a question on Monday about whether he has ever been unfaithful to his wife Heidi.

'Senator Cruz,' DailyMail.com asked him, 'can you please swat down more definitively this National Enquirer piece by telling us on the record that you've never been unfaithful to your wife?'

The National Enquirer published a story last Wednesday that speculated about five women with whom the Republican presidential candidate was rumored to have had extramarital affairs.

Cruz has batted down the specifics of the story on numerous occasions since it appeared in supermarket checkout lanes.

But instead of making a blanket declaration that he has been faithful during the entirety of his 14-year marriage – a move that would effectively end the vicious news cycle – Cruz stood silently as campaign surrogate Carly Fiorina leapt in to intercept the question and change the subject.

Snarly was as obnoxious as I remember from earlier. Cruz and Snarly are unbearable to watch and listen too.

Is she Cruz’s keeper now?

That was horrible and he looked a fool.

It’s the difference between answering a question and deflecting a question.

Whether he thinks the question is garbage is irrelevant. Perception matters. Surely Cruz knows this. The perception is that he’s dodging the question. He had a golden opportunity to end that perception and chose not to.

This is either incompetence or guilt. The longer he goes on with “this is garbage a smear” the worse he looks.

“I think the difference is that Trump never claimed to be everything Ted claimed”

That is just it. Trump is not hiding behind the Bible or behind that nut “preacher” Glenn Beck. I guess now we can accuse Ted of hiding behind Carly’s skirt.

“Have you ever committed adultery?”

“I’m not going to play that game. I am not going to go down that rabbit hole. It’s time for politics in America to get out of the gutter, and get back to the real issues that concern the American People. It’s time to stop dancing to Donald Trump’s tune.”

Translation: “Yes.”

Even Jessica Simpson could see through that spiel! :) LOL.

If there's anybody out there who still thinks Ted has been faithful to his wife, I've got a ton of dehydrated water I wanna sell ya. ;)

Guess who else is quiet on Cruz support? Who would that be? Jeb Bush and Romney who just endorsed Cruz days before #CruzSexScandal They are horrified for their miscalculation of supporting Cruz just last week.

Uh oh. Bush and Romney will forever be tied to endorsing #SexScandalCruz in March 2016. Notice not WORD, not a peep from the Bush or Romney camp?

Hmmmm

The source said Bush “will actively support Senator Cruz’s bid,” but has not yet agreed to a joint appearance with Cruz, or to headline a fundraiser for him. Mitt Romney said he voted for Cruz in Tuesday’s Utah primary.

Bush’s endorsement is a massive boost for Cruz with the establishment wing of the GOP, which he's struggling to win over as party regulars make frantic moves to stop Trump, who is dominating in the delegate race. And it comes at a time when he's facing strong competition from Ohio Gov. John Kasich, who has remained in the race and is courting the same mainstream Republican donors that Cruz badly needs right now.

The source close to Bush said: “Senator Cruz also met with Governor Bush in Miami before the last Republican debate there (as did Kasich and Rubio). Senator Cruz has demonstrated the ability to bring voters together and to win primaries (which is the key at this point). They have a mutual respect for one another. He is the absolute best shot Republicans have to defeat Donald Trump and then Hillary Clinton.” NOT

The Bush source continued: “This is NOT an anti-John Kasich endorsement. Governor Bush has enormous respect for John Kasich and he enjoyed spending time with Governor Kasich over the past year – thinks he is a good guy and a good governor. At this point, the best path to victory is supporting the candidate who has been able to win states and win over voters.” >>>>> TRUMP

Bush says in the statement: “Today, I am endorsing Ted Cruz for President …

Ha Ha Talk about a lead balloon.

This is not a question about Trumps fidelity, It is about Cruz and his fidelity to his wife.

All you are trying to do is confuse the issues like one offsets the other.

Trump has never said he is an evangelical who follows all of religious teaching like Cruz professes. They are portraying themselves as total opposites as their background.

They are totally polar opposites whether you like it or not.

Ted has had his Dad and Beck pretty much say that Ted is anointed by God or the one to fulfill Mormon prophecy. Beck also said publicly that people are not following God if they do not support Cruz.

Cruz allowed all of this.

“Because Ted Cruz has spent his entire campaign presenting himself as “so much better” than people like Bill Clinton.

He’s actually way, way, worse”

At a minimum Ted is in the same league as Bill.

Yes.

The sick part is Cruz thinks he’s getting alpha male street cred with this scandal story and so do the blogger bimbos.

Yes Donald Trump is not trying to get you to believe that when he bends over the shekinah glory shoots out of his butt.

I cannot figure out if this is the funniest thing I have ever read on FR, or whether it is sacriligeous.

I'll let you know when I stop laughing.

Scott Walker endorsed lyin Ted Cruz for Wisconsin. They are both establishment losers without the people’s support.
