Only one winner here, looks like Trump gets all the delegates. If Kasich drops out his support would move to Trump and not to the womanizer Cruz.

I think Trump may have finally hit the “Idiotic statements threshold” and is hemorrhaging votes. He won’t have the necessary votes to win on the first round, and a whole lot of delegates are only voting for Trump because they are required to by law in the first round. When the voting hits the second round, Trump is in trouble.

Make it simple for you, if Trumps not the nominee Hillary is Prez.

Oh....an a word to the wise to Governor Scott Walker of Wisconsin. If I were you. I would avoid Ted Cruz like he had the plague. You endorsing him, will seal your political fate to total failure, as your future unfolds. Take a good hard look at your political track record....you were doing fantastic & wham...you got slaughtered in the POTUS race. If you had any smarts you would wholeheartly endorse Donald J. Trump....which will be a strategic, move much more favorable to you future political career!!! Ted Cruz, Glenn Beck, Mitt Romney, Carly Fiorina....not in good company, Governor!!!I Think...even you may get the drift of reality!!! Go Donald J. Trump....America First & Make America Great Again!!!

New polls show Trump trailing in Wisconsin, and fading in PA and California.

Have you have gotten a little confused? Last weeks polls showed Trump behind Cruz in Wisconsin; this thread is discussing the latest poll out which now shows Trump ahead. That would generally be considered the opposite of fading.

None of the polls are currently taking the cow pie that Cruz stepped in over the weekend. He should have just ignored the National Enquirer piece; the media even Drudge had all signaled that they were going to ignore it. Instead Cruz made a spectacle out of himself and made it the top discussion everywhere.

I know that Cruz has the best team of advisers. He must be ignoring them to have gone off the rails to this extent. We are currently witnessing what looks like one of the biggest flame outs in political history. There are few good explanations for it. To some it looks like he is trying to throw the election. Maybe someone really has successfully blackmailed him?

How does voting for someone other than Trump lead to a loss of House and Senate seats?
==
Simple, because Trump will have at least 3 times more votes as any other candidate, not delegates but votes. Trump voters not gonna stand for any convention shenanigans ie. giving him the boot, and will punish some GoPe House and Senate members. Yeah it will happen.

Well Cruz stepped in it when he called Trump a “RAT”, in his context a rat is someone who tells the truth about you that you don’t want people to know

Jimmy told Julie that her boyfriend was waking out with Sally under the bleachers. Julie’s boyfriend would call Jimmy a rat

Just like Cruz called Trump a rat

Interesting choice of words

Okay, well if Trump voters are going to blame Senators and House members if their guy doesn't win, just out of spite, that takes away the moral high ground from Trump supporters demanding that other Republicans support their guy.

OI think you're right, though. I think the party is completely torn, and there doesn't seem much willingness on either side to even attempt to bring the different factions together. Likely going to be a GOP defeat of historical proportions.

Looking at the details this is mostly a positive poll for Trump.

The poll does not appear to screen for likely voters or party affiliation.

The poll sample date: 3/22 - 3/24.

Did the governor endorse Cruz yet? Ask Cinci wife. She will know the winner.

“How does voting for someone other than Trump lead to a loss of House and Senate seats?”

Very simple. So far only Trump has the Reagan coalition. That is made up of blue collar workers, Blacks and disgruntled Bernie supporters.

“Walker would be an idiot to endorse someone like Kasich”

Which he may very well do.

“wow 3 way tie almost, and Kasich is surging”

George Soros sees an opening and will spend more money on Kasich.

From a Wisconsin blog:
TRUMP:
And speaking of big money - - millions of dollars in outside spending targeted against Trump which only reinforces his message, effective to date, that GOP fat cats care little for working people except as voters they can manipulate and deceive - -
a claim reinforced in Wisconsin by so-called Walker and GOP establishment ‘reforms’ from Act 10 to a frozen, minimal minimum wage to right-to-work worker paycheck losses to higher entry fees at state parks and campgrounds on land and at waters which the people already own.

is to cheat, just like he did to his wife.

You have absolutely no evidence to support such a claim but it appears that cheating on your wife is something that you see as a disqualification from the nomination. If so, how do you square supporting a guy who has openly bragged about cheating on his wives?

Or maybe it doesn't really mean anything to you and this is all dishonest posturing.

Well Scott Walker right now is polling in the mid 30’s. Endorsing Cruz may not be the best idea.

Plus you may not be aware of this but Walker is polling in the mid 30’s in terms of support.

Uh, the Reagan coalition did not include blacks or disgruntled liberals. And it also included the entire conservative wing of the party. However, a great many people in that wing of the party can't stand Trump. That collation is shattered.

Also, why assume that the “new voters” who support Trump are going to vote for Republicans elsewhere on the ticket? By definition, these are people who haven’t seen themselves as members of any political party, or even as Democrats.
