Trump can't beat Hillary? Really?
Worldnet Daily ^ | 3/27/2016 | Joseph Farah

I continue to be amazed by those pundits who suggest Donald Trump can’t beat Hillary Clinton.

There are three principal reasons for such faulty conclusions: •These folks are working under the strictures of an old paradigm. That is the one that says Democrats start out with a base of unlosable states and electoral votes and need only to win two or more swing states. •Polls taken today, before the Trump-Hillary campaign even begins. •Trump’s high negatives.

Let’s look at one big reason none of these factors will come into play after the conventions.

The Hillary camp is scared to death of Trump. He is a master of sizing people up and pissing them off. I don’t think Hillary has what it takes to go up against what the left calls ...A MEAN MAN...in other words a tough businessman. He will expose her for what she is and they know it.

Well, I wouldn’t have been shocked if she did run, and I wasn’t shocked when she didn’t. I didn’t get involved in that debate. So I reckon you were smarter on that one than me. To me, this is pretty much where we are now with a possible Trump nomination, I can see landslide victory or crushing defeat, I see very plausible points on either side for one thing happening and the other not.

Like I said, it will interesting to see how the one side or the other comes to grips with being so wrong. In the age of fruit fly memory of 24 hour social media, it probably won’t last long.

“Other than that Trump has the voters on his side...”

Really? The guy with the highest negatives ever recorded has the voters on his side? The guy who is making ME wonder if I can vote for “the Republican” against Hillary has the voters on his side?

You didn’t vote for McCain, you voted against Obama, like I did.

“40% of Republicans say that they will never vote for Trump.”

Favor: When you see them please tell them to GET. ON. BOARD.

Thanks a bunch.

I sure agree with that.....landslide victory, or crushing defeat.

Or the other possibility could be a nail biter ala 2000!

One thing I hope we don’t get into: if Trump is way behind in the polls come October 2016 I hope we don’t go down the road (again) of “the polls are wrong.”

In any event....we shall see....going to be an interesting spring/summer.

I voted for Sarah Palin, McWhatshisname was along for the ride.

Yes. Really. Last poll has only 23% of women willing to vote for him. And don’t get me started on minorities ESPECIALLY Latinos who will turn out in droves. In 2010 when the mid-terms went Red my state of CA went blue because of high Latino turnout against the GOP.

Do the math.

He is loathed and it’s only going to get worse. Oh his supporters won’t change their mind, but that isn’t even CLOSE to enough.

This is an epic disaster for us in the making.

Trump will get crushed in the general. His disapproval numbers with woman are sky high. I know the Trump fanboys cheer him on when he fights with Megyn Kelly, Carly Fiorina, Ted Cruzes wife…but everyone else thinks it’s pretty damn weird. Not enough angry white guys to win this thing.

So will you tell the same thing to all of the Trump supporters who keep posting on FR that they will never vote for anyone other than Trump?

Face it, we are deeply divided and it is getting worse. You cannot get people to support your guy (whoever your guy is) by trying to rip apart the other guy and his supporters.

Free Republic is looking more and more like Democratic Undgerground. Hell, the DUmmies don't rip into Trump or Cruz with anything approaching the vehemence that you can see here on FR.

How about we all take a deep breath and try to remember who the real enemy is? If this keeps up we will just be handing the election to Hillary.

Hillary is such a repugnant candidate that a 74 year old white Socialist Senator from a small, almost entirely white state has the support of almost half the Democrat party, proving that even the Democrats don't want to vote for her. Beating Hillary should be easy, but we are in the process of losing before the general election even begins.

Bernie supporters and Trump supporters are the most enthusiastic, but that doesn’t necessarily translate into actual votes where overall numbers are concerned.

I agree with your post, actually, and hope we can get through this cantankerous mess. Dark times ahead regardless. Satan’s time is short and he is angry.

And as always and forever...Jesus Christ is LORD and will destroy him in a moment.

“40% of Republicans say that they will never vote for Trump. “

I think that’s a BS number. I don’t know a single (R) that says hat.

In most states hispanics aren't a factor due to low turnout or low population.

As for California, forget it. It's lost to conservatives. Even RINOs struggle to win there. Any candidate liberal enough to win in California might as well be a Democrat.

Congressman Reid Ribble (R-WI) is on record stating he will not vote for Trump if he is the Republican nominee. A number of Wisconsin state representatives and state senators will not support Trump. Nearly all of the local conservative talk radio hosts in Milwaukee, Madison & Green Bay are also #nevertrump.

The Wisconsin primary next Tuesday will be a rude awakening for the Donald.

Forget the averages. Trump’s negatives keep growing, and the latest from each state is this:

California
Trump 36, Cruz 35, Kasich 14
Wisconsin
Trump 31, Cruz 36, Kasich 21
Pennsylvania
Trump 33, Kasich 30, Cruz 20

Trump will win New York. If he doesn’t, he should just drop out that night.
