Chastened?? Wrong word.
He is only stepping back because the criticisms are finally getting to him.
I won’t be happy until people say “Glenn who”??

“Ted ought to be embarrassed by this yob. Sadly he isnt rather Ted seems to enjoy the adoration. That is way creepy.”
Says one of two things about Ted. One, either he’s a narcissist, rivaling Obama, and actually believes he’s some kind of chosen one, or two, he thinks evangelicals or Christians are really stoopid.

First they “categorically” deny it (note not specifically deny it)
then they go silent for a day or two
then the call Billy Graham (or Rev Jesse Jackson if a minority was involved)
then the public bulldog face apology with his wife at his side, announcing that he will be seeking treatment for his sexual-addiction

I just don’t see any incongruity in Cruz’s connection or affiliation with Beck, especially after all we’ve learned recently about Cruz. The two campaigning together makes perfect sense. They are not only very much alike they are complementary to each other.
