The National Enquirer published a story this week claiming evidence of multiple sexual trysts by presidential candidate Senator Ted Cruz. ........ Ted Cruz just blamed Donald Trump and his former consultant Roger Stone for the National Enquirer article accusing the Texas senator of extramarital trysts. Cruz blamed Donald Trump and his “henchmen” including former consultant Roger Stone for advancing the rumors.

Cruz told reporters in Wisconsin the story was “all lies.” Cruz then went on to blame the article on Donald Trump and his “henchmen.” Cruz argued Roger Stone has been forwarding the article today on the internet. He thinks Trump campaign is behind this story. Cruz also said the publisher of the National Enquirer is a friend of Donald Trump’s.

Let’s have the names of the women. It would not be hard to provide this evidence since the Inquirer has done that for John Edwards and Tiger Woods.

The real scandal is not that Ted wears the Bible on his sleeve with an open zipper, but he was blackmailed and covered up the $500,000 campaign transfer and is stonewalling the FEC information request.

I't is obvious to everyone here that the Cruz bots are running interference for very illegal behavior on his part.

Once again you are engaging in deflection and desperately trying to cover up for your boy Cruz.

The link you posted upthread is nothing but Cruz complaining about DONALD TRUMP, not about the National Enquirer story, and the fact is, the ‘onus’ IS on Cruz to deny without qualification or equivocation ANY accusations made by the Enquirer regarding his marital fidelity or any indiscretions in his relationship with Heidi Cruz. If Heidi and his daughters mean that much to Ted, he should be out there demanding a retraction from the National Enquirer 24 hours a day until they either comply, or they produce the goods.

THAT is why Cruz is going ballistic about Trump and NOT about the National Enquirer. He knows what they were able to do with John Edwards regarding Rielle Hunter, and his failure to step up and demand the Enquirer put up or shut up strongly suggests that there is fire where there is smoke.

It’s not Trump’s fault. It’s the National Enquirer. If the accusations are all lies, Cruz shouldn’t hesitate one nanosecond to go to battle with the Enquirer and proclaim his innocence before God and all of humanity.

Instead of whining about Trump, Cruz should be denouncing the National Enquirer article as a pack of lies, state without equivocation that he has NEVER been unfaithful to his wife Heidi, has NEVER had an affair, let alone a mistress or mistresses, and challenge the Enquirer to either produce the evidence they claim to have, or publish an immediate apology and retraction.

If he could, he would. He doesn't know what evidence they've got.

Turnabout is fair play I suppose, but now Cruz has to establish a nexus between Trump and the NE where Trump said “Run it.” in order to make a political parry.
Cruz was feeling comfortable that Trump couldn’t do it with the Melania smear.
Another way to look at this is, Trump knows how to fight dirty and how to use the media. And he doesn’t stand by with a fake smile pasted to his face when someone takes a swing at him: he goes for the `nads.

And what’s funny is that most of those accused just laugh it off. Cruz blames the whole story on trump which is kind of weird.

Not at all weird because (1) Cruz is running against Trump, not the National Enquirer, and (2) the story was pretty clearly a plant from the Trump campaign.

If you will notice, the National Enquirer does not even allege that the claims are true. They simply "report" that someone (who they will not identify) has put together a "dirt file" in which the claims are made.

Now who would be putting together a dirt file on Cruz to show to the National Enquirer at this stage of the campaign? Not the Hillary Clinton campaign (they will save all of their dirt files to release after the conventions and shortly before the general election).

I would never cover up for my candidate IF THE STORY IS TRUE.

That is why I asked a simple question -— Let’s have the names of the women so that we can ascertain the truth or falsity of this story.

If the evidence is clear and unambigous, I would not cover up for Ted Cruz at all.

I am, unlike others, not a “worshipper” of anyone. If a person does wrong, he has to take responsibility for it.

But first — let’s have the evidence before we jump into this conclusion. Let’s have the names.

Don't forget he may have been blackmailed and has ignored the FEC requests on the $500,000 transfer.
