EMERSON POLL: WISCONSIN PRIMARY IN PLAY FOR BOTH PARTIES; CRUZ LEADS TRUMP BY A POINT; CLINTON UP 6 OVER SANDERS; CRUZ FARES BETTER THAN TRUMP IN GENERAL AGAINST CLINTON.
So HOW much do you get paid to infiltrate this CONSERVATIVE board and trash CRUZ and worship TRUMP TRUMP TRUMP a thousand times a day? You have a VERY peculiar posting history!
Weird. The Wikipedia page says WI is winner takes all.
I have a feeling that Sheriff David Clarke (Milwaukee County) will endorse Trump.. He’s the Arapio of the north..
Could be wrong - just a feeling.
They haven't been great, but haven't been God-awful this cycle. The so-called "gold standard" in Wisconsin is the Marquette Law School poll. They know the state extremely well. I'd put more stock in that poll than any of the others.
I get confused with all these polls, but my recollection is that Emerson is fairly reliable. I think they're the only one who had a late poll with Cruz winning Iowa.
The race is close. I believe Trump dominates the smaller rural counties. He has to do better in the suburbs.
got that from here.. they may be wrong..

Tuesday 5 April 2016: All 42 of Wisconsin’s delegates to the Republican National Convention are allocated to presidential contenders in today’s Wisconsin Presidential Primary.
24 district delegates are to be allocated to presidential contenders based on the primary results in each of the 8 congressional districts: each congressional district is assigned 3 National Convention delegates and the presidential contender receiving the greatest number of votes in that district will receive all 3 of that district’s National Convention delegates. [Republican Party of Wisconsin Constitution Article X Section 5.]
18 at-large delegates (10 base at-large delegates plus 5 bonus delegates plus 3 RNC delegates) are to be bound to the presidential contender receiving the greatest number of votes in the primary statewide. [Republican Party of Wisconsin Constitution Article X Section 6.]
They are wrong. It's winner take all by congressional district in Wisconsin (8x3 for 24 delegates) and then 18 delegates to the winner of the state.
Kasich doesn’t care about getting the votes, because the delegates at the convention are going to decide to vote for him (per Kasich).
Those polls are from February and before February. They are irrelevant. Today’s polls are what count right now. Trump will get CRUSHED in Wisconsin and it won’t even be close.
Thanks for the correction..
amen...great man!
I disagree, I don’t see Ted coming to them, I see them coming to him.
Really, who wouldn’t welcome most endorsements? He won’t win on strong conservatives alone. He will need to pull people together if he ever wants to get anything done.
Plus, he will really need these people if it goes to a contested convention.
I have no fear that he will do what he has promised, he always has before.
Sounds more competitive than I expected. I’d like to see more polls before I believe this.
Trumpkins are hard to reason with.
This is a must win state for Cruz. If Trump wins this, it’s a rather easy walk to 1237.
This is probably a good reason to think that Trump will ultimately prevail in WI.
Yeah, but where would a new Senator get that kind of money ?
