Trump dismisses Cruz explanation in fight over wife's photo
The Washington Examiner ^ | 3/23/2016 | Gabby Morrongiello

Donald Trump on Wednesday kept up his attack against Ted Cruz by claiming the Texas senator is behind a recent ad showing Trump's wife Melania in the nude.

Trump first accused Cruz on Tuesday of circulating a provocative image of Melania from a January 2000 photoshoot with GQ Magazine. In the accusation posted to Trump's Twitter account, the brash businessman also said he would "spill the beans" on Cruz's wife, Heidi.

But the Texas senator said he had "nothing to do" with the ad after the anti-Trump Make America Awesome PAC took credit for it.

On Wednesday, Trump slammed "Lyin' Ted Cruz" over his repeated assurance that he took no part in the development or circulation of the ad.

Cruz hit back at Trump Wednesday morning – hours before the billionaire's latest tweet – during an interview with CNN's Chris Cuomo.

"It reveals a lot about class, that Donald's instinct is to try to attack my wife and sully her," he said.

-—With the race coming down to two viable candidates, the GOP needs to know — Is Ted Cruz hiding five mistresses that Hillary could use against us in the general election?

The establishment love to endorse candidates that they think they can control (have the goods on).

IIRC when Hillary was in college she participated in some body type study which involved being photographed nekkid. Supposedly those images were destroyed sometime after she became First Lady.

Unfortunately the mental picture that you drew for me can't be destroyed in my mind.... Naked crooked Hitlery... eww.

If he were to anything to get the PAC to pull their ad, that would be illegal.

At least Melania raises her son, unlike the Globalist, Hilary clone, Heidi Cruz. Heidi & Ted have a nanny to raise their children.

So you can cease your hypocritical, sanctimonious little attitude about Melania. You’re only embarrassing yourself.

Aww, jealous that you aren’t able to attract such a beautiful, intelligent woman?

Poor baby.

>>When you attack Cruz’s record, you just point out Trump’s lack of one.

Prior to this election season, did you ever say something like, “it would be great if we stopped electing career politicians and could elect citizen-statesmen who would serve and then return to the private sector”?

It used to be a common statement here. But now, the Cruzies seem to want that long record of legislative accomplishments. Of course, it’s weird that you want that and choose Cruz, a guy who has no actual legislative accomplishments other than a famous filibuster.

You see, the Citizen-Statesman has a record of DOING things using his own labor and money and skill as opposed to the career politician who merely feeds at the public trough, casting a vote or making a speech from time to time.

Its called the cost of doing business. Has nothing to do with supporting the ideology.

I’m pretty sure Trump is not upset at his wife for posing, I reckon it’s because the slimer used his wife in a campaign ad (oh yeah, not him *wink wink* *nudge nudge*)

It's ILLEGAL for Cruz to coordinate activity with any PAC. If you have the evidence that this is the case then present it. Otherwise STFU. Your juvenile insinuations are worth nothing.

I could accept many descriptions of Trump but not coward. He’s manifestly not that - to the extent that his entire support is based on having the stones to suffer through this gauntlet laid before him.

Perhaps you are not a husband who loves his wife enough to get fighting mad to defend her.

If my wife looked like Malenia combined with the statement "Next first lady," I'd take it as a compliment. And at the very least any adult in a presidential campaign would treat it as one in order to disarm the attack.

But Ted Cruz does not run the PAC

I’m surprised to see freepers playing into the media narratives.

Wow blame the guys wife for Cruz and Mair going there. Principled Cruzlim Conservatism is total baloney. You got killed in the elections, a free ride in the media, are making common cause with every nut GOPE and think you guys actually hit a triple. Cruz doesn’t even have a mathematical chance anymore and here you people are. Just ducky.

Many believe that bullies are psychologically damaged individuals with intense feelings of insecurity about themselves (e.g. their penis), and this is why they lash out constantly both verbally and sometimes violently at others. IMHO, Trump brashness and bravado is masking his inner cowardice. His frequent Twitter rants filled with slanders and vulgarities usually coincide with poor results in a primary or with some bad polling data. He feels threatened (e.g. that high might be a loser) and lashes out at the world (and his competitors) to comfort those inner thoughts of failure. Some would call this cowardice because he is unable to manage his emotions in a normal or appropriate way!

Anger is a normal when a man's wife is insulted. Normal people can understand it since they are capable of experiencing it.

Look, to resolve this, all we need is a side-by-side comparison.

Verdict:

Donald Trump WINS.

FLAWLESS VICTORY.

“Does it bother anyone (Trump fans) that all Trump’s males friends have seen his wife nude, much less his young son will be sharing his mom’s photo with his teen friends very soon?”

It bothers me more that a woman praises having live in help to raise her kids, so she can work 80-hour weeks and she doesn’t have to, and spends many years living cross country from her husband.

I chose racy pictures over Heidi’s family values.
