Cruz — who called former presidential candidate Mitt Romney "honorable" and "experienced" in his New York Times-best selling book — privately described Romney as the worst possible candidate during an event earlier this year, according to the National Journal on Friday.
While giving a speech in May for the Council for National Policy, a secretive group of top conservative donors and activists, Cruz said Romney was the worst candidate the GOP could have nominated in 2012 because of his record on healthcare reform.

Romney recently criticized Cruz's position on the Iran nuclear deal. Cruz said, with the Iran deal, the Obama administration became "the world's leading financier of radical Islamic terrorism."

I was a vigorous Cruz supporter until around November. His propensity to say one thing in private and something diametrically opposed in public certainly made it uncomfortable for me to continue supporting him.
You might be right. Trump attacked Mitt from the left in 2012 on immigration saying that Mitt's self deportation plan was too mean.
As a Trump supporter, I wish this had stayed unknown.
Ted is a conservative and, yes, I would expect him to not like Romney’s policies.
No....we've heard enough from him We should frame him by his actions. Four years ago, he threw the election to Obama after working so hard to defeat conservatives in the primaries. Now he jumps in and works hard to steal the nomination by a scheme that will bring down not just the Republican Party, but possibly the nation with it.
He's behaving like a globalist creep who, like Soros and the rest of the puppetmasters, want to pretty much destroy world civilization so they can pick up the pieces.

I have never heard Cruz call Carson a psychotic and pedophile, or belittle others religion. Never heard him call for national boycotts of businesses or news media because they did not suck up to him. Never heard Cruz attack anyone personally which your guy does daily - that is sleaze.
Never heard Cruz trash the handicapped or anyone’s looks. Never heard him encourage his supporters to beat up protesters or offer to pay their legal bills.
Cruz did not support communist Blasio for mayor of NYC in 2014, or $50,000 to Rom - Chicago mayor.
Never heard him call women names or use vulgar language. You may love that but is a factor in why women strongly disapprove of Trump.
