I find it obscene that a teacher, working ~170 days a year, a job that he cannot be fired for, is making more than $100K a year.
Well, DUH! Of course it's gross. That doesn't mean it's not true or that there isn't a historical, cultural lesson to be learned from it. Would it be appropriate to show the films taken of the Nazi death camps?
This teacher was well within her rights.
Hard to know what chokes most, the 100k salary, to whom a $300 fine has got to be little better than a parking fine in the Five Boroughs, or the stink of PC, where student’s sensibilities are more important than their need to understand the dangers in the world they are supposedly being prepared for.
There's the issue and the salary is merely a distraction.
Every college student who has been brainwashed, should have to see this video of the ‘peaceful’ muslim ‘religion’.

The salaries reflect the OBSCENE cost of living in NYC.

The BIG PROBLEM is that we do not teach our kids the CRIMES of our enemies, so Chairman Mao, Stalin, Castro, and now ISIS become HEROES to them.
Most of the people here are making fun of that college kid that got caught stealing some crap in North Korea and now gets to cool down in one of their labor camps for the next 15 years - but not me. HOW ON EARTH WAS HE SUPPOSED TO KNOW just how bad a Communist government can be? I suspect even his parents were CLUELESS, and only his grandparents understood Communism and only because they lived through the worst days of it. I certainly wasn’t taught a DAMN THING about Communism growing up, even in the middle of the Cold War.
As far as I’m concerned EVERY AMERICAN KID should be required to watch ISIS chop off heads. Heck, even Putin REQUIRES High School kids to read the works of Solzhenitsyn, which documents the worst of Stalin. Why can’t we do similar?
Shame on this teacher for failing to shield our children from truth and failing provide a safe space where they can avoid being exposed to the world.
I'm in the wrong line of work, except that you couldn't pay me to associate with the average teacher. They are government-supported fascists.
A $300 fine against that salary? Pocket change. There are New York parking tickets bigger than that.

Then they go home and play life like reality games on their game boxes where killings are a way of the game and celebrated....and/or watch it on Hollywood movies full of horrible vocabulary and blood...

Yeah it is kind of to roll eyes... the position of schoolmarm, etc. was known historically for being sacrificial. Still, if they were actually living UP to it, there could be worse things in the world. The worst scandals are how they don’t even live UP to it.
