This week, in the Utah nominating caucus, I will vote for Senator Ted Cruz.
Today, there is a contest between Trumpism and Republicanism. Through the calculated statements of its leader, Trumpism has become associated with racism, misogyny, bigotry, xenophobia, vulgarity and, most recently, threats and violence. I am repulsed by each and every one of these.
The only path that remains to nominate a Republican rather than Mr. Trump is to have an open convention. At this stage, the only way we can reach an open convention is for Senator Cruz to be successful in as many of the remaining nominating elections as possible.
I like Governor John Kasich. I have campaigned with him. He has a solid record as governor. I would have voted for him in Ohio. But a vote for Governor Kasich in future contests makes it extremely likely that Trumpism would prevail.
I will vote for Senator Cruz and I encourage others to do so as well, so that we can have an open convention and nominate a Republican.

This will probably help Cruz’s winning margin in Utah and Idaho, Don’t think it has much reach beyond that. If Cruz cannot win both UT and ID he needs to spend his time on something else.

At least SOME things make sense. Mitt, Lindsay, Jeb!, Beck-—some logic in this bizarro world still exists. Those people are ideologically on the same team and a perfect match.

A vote for Ted Cruz is a vote for Mitt Romney.
A vote for the Donald is a vote for Hillary.
The Grim Romney just claimed another political corpse this time Ted Cruz.
Cruz already won Idaho. Handily. And he was going to win Utah because Mormons hate Trump.

Cruz should disavow this loser’s endorsement. Based on his decisions regarding Beck, Neil Bush & the Chicago thugs he will probably thank Mittens for coming to his side.
Just helps Trump all the more in the remaining primaries, IMO.
And Romney promises, for Cruz supporters, their own heaven where they will reign as gods.

Isn’t it so much better to support “conservatives” like Romney, Lindsey Graham and Glenn Beck instead of so called “progressives” like Trump.
