Ted Cruz on Wednesday mocked Donald Trump for bowing out of a debate next week in Salt Lake City, and the Texas senator vowed to call out the GOP front-runner at a gathering of a major pro-Israel lobby group next week.
Trump said earlier in the day that he would not participate in the Fox News debate in Utah on Monday, and John Kasich quickly said that he wouldn't attend if Trump didn't. Later on Wednesday, Fox News formally canceled the event.
Trump said he would use his time instead on Monday to address a conference hosted by the American Israel Public Affairs Committee, the prominent pro-Israel group. Cruz's campaign said in a statement Wednesday that Cruz would use his time at the same conference to "highlight Trump's positions -- or lack thereof -- in front of the thousands of AIPAC members in attendance."

At least Cruz is good for a laugh. Trump, however, is smart enough to know that he practically has this in the bag now and he’s the one who already has the most publicity. Why should he give this extra opportunity to his opponents, especially for a debate tossed together at the last moment? He doesn’t get anything out of a scenario like this. Cruz’s taunting is certainly not going to convince Trump to give him this extra publicity either. Trump is already starting to shift more of his focus to Hillary, while Cruz has to figure out how he can accomplish the near-impossible feat of winning around 85% of the remaining delegates to get a majority.

I'm not privy to Trump's intimate relationship with GOD, nor could I care less, if I tried, to know if Trump understands the Gospel. "GOSPEL"...MATTHEW, MARK, LUKE, JOHN; ONLY? What about the whole Bible?
Jimmy Carter, one of the all time WORST presidents in the history of this nation, supposedly "understands" both Testaments; fat lot of good that did him or this nation.

OK. So what he said about the Gang of Eight bill was a lie.
But have you asked yourself WHY?
He intended for his amendment to the Gang of Eight bill to be a poison pill to kill the bill. This is backed up by Trump backer Jeff Sessions and even Charles Schumer, who both says he was the biggest opponent to the bill.
So, let me get this straight, because I’m not sure I have this right.
You’re upset that he was lying about supporting the Gang of Eight bill, which he really didn’t support? Is that it?

It cannot be proven that Cruz was against the Go8. At the time he said, twicerepeatedlyt he was for it. This continued to be his position until Trump made such support political suicide. Then all at once Cruz announced that everything Cruzhe’dd previously was a lie.
A, how can ANYONE lie as sincerely, earnestly and effectively as Cruz claims he did? B, when a person admits to lying on a large and ongoing scale, how can you ever know for certain when that person is actually telling the truth?
Kasich and Cruz also skipped the debate even though it would have given them extensive exposure that they need much more than Trump.
And you believe EVERYTHING that Trump tells us the absolute Gospel truth?
