Sorry, I should have been more clear on what I meant by the Gospel. The Gospel is basically the "good news" that God the Father sent his Son to pay the price for our sins through his crucifixion on the cross as a sinless man and to reconcile us to Him through the forgiveness of sin so that we may have eternal life with Him.

What is the Gospel?

That's why I wrote what I did! I know that "GOSPEL" means "THE GOOD NEWS" and I'm betting that I knew this tidbit long before you did.

This thread is about POLITICS, not ABOUT RELIGION and outside of the Muslim problem, we need to keep ALL religious chat off political threads. JMO, but there it is, as I find being PREACHED AT, PROSELYTIZED, and/or HARANGUED by preacher wannabes here to be highly offensive. I don't tell others what to believe in, nor do I condemn differences in Christianity, from my own beliefs. I'd appreciate the same from others!
