Ted Cruz on Wednesday mocked Donald Trump for bowing out of a debate next week in Salt Lake City, and the Texas senator vowed to call out the GOP front-runner at a gathering of a major pro-Israel lobby group next week.
Trump said earlier in the day that he would not participate in the Fox News debate in Utah on Monday, and John Kasich quickly said that he wouldn't attend if Trump didn't. Later on Wednesday, Fox News formally canceled the event.
Trump said he would use his time instead on Monday to address a conference hosted by the American Israel Public Affairs Committee, the prominent pro-Israel group. Cruz's campaign said in a statement Wednesday that Cruz would use his time at the same conference to "highlight Trump's positions -- or lack thereof -- in front of the thousands of AIPAC members in attendance."

It just seems to me that the worse Cruz does, the louder you folks get.
He’s done. It’s over. Ted and his supporters are the only ones who don’t know.
When I see some guy giving Trump folks a hard time, I sometimes jump in.
Ted lost 4-5% support here on the forum too.
Over a period of time he has steadily decreased in support, and generally for rather decent reasons.
I never saw him to be the guy folks were describing him to be.
Back in 1999 he was doing things I could consider to be RINO activity. I did raise the point a few times, but nobody wanted to listen. They were too busy letting me know what a demon Trump was.
Well, those chickens finally came home to roost, despite best efforts to ignore them.
I don’t have hard feelings against folks on the forum, but I do have some against Ted. I don’t think he was as advertised and I think he was purposefully being rather dishonest with us.
I hope Cruz loses the nomination. He’s a liar and a fraud.
I’ll work to make everyone know his votes on the Corker bill, TPA etc. and so maybe he’ll lose his senate seat.
Perhaps it is a secret; that is Cruz' strength and liability, running on his religion.

Ted called Donald's bluff brilliantly, and Donald slinked away quietly, silent now for nearly a month.
You just plain have to stand up to these bullies, like Ted Cruz ("Mr. 100% A.C.U.-rating") did--and will continue to do. Stay tuned.
What I have found interesting is that at least a few of his supporters here on FR don’t even know what the Corker Bill is or what it did.
But yeah, the way he conducting himself in the campaign at this point was me want to projectile vomit.

No, they won’t give anything to Cruz in MO. The Sec.of State in this state is a liberal Democrat. He is running against Roy Blunt for Senator.
Some libs are crossing over to vote for Cruz because they would rather run against him. It may be possible this guy gives it to Cruz to increase the odds for a brokered convention.
I guess we’ll have to wait and see...Only he knows for sure : )
After what Ted did in Chicago, siding with the likes of Moveon.org & BlackLivesMatter left me cold. Lost respect for him.
Trump said if they messed with the nomination that people may riot...He did not say his people would riot...He wasn’t making a threat as you insinuate, he was making an observation...
I believe the delegates were awarded earlier this afternoon/evening. Trump got 37 delegates and Cruz got 15.
These debates are useless. They are shouting matches that look like an episode of Jerry Springer. They are designed to get ratings and make the candidates look bad.
If they want a real debate, each candidate should be asked the same question, given a set time to answer, cut off at the buzzer, and then on to the next. No responses to attacks or shouting over each other.
Cruz is simply a d _ _ k, I guess Cruz is scared to debate Kasich. Maybe Cruz is scared of the sound of crickets, since no one would watch him debate Kasich. Cruz is a real tough guy indeed. He should doubledown some more on Chicago and trash talking Trump. After all, it seems to have really paid off for him yesterday.
