Other has 1200 votes in Jackson county and the difference is 1400. The different is the election right now is 2600

Followed you back to CNN....Lowry does not matter because he is not a journalist, but Megyn sells herself as a journalist, and her bias is clear as crystal. I tuned in just to hear Megyn declare Trump won Missouri.

Honestly I have been civil to Cruz supporters. I also have said I would vote for him if he won the nomination. Cruz does lie and show his politician side a little too often when it comes to Trump. But outside of that I generally like Cruz. I think he would make a great US Supreme Court Justice.

The 1% threshold seems to authorize a recount conducted under direction of a court or its commissioner

The .5% threshold seems to authorize a recount conducted by the SoS.

I haven’t looked at it too closely though.

Either way, Cruz could request a recount.

The hardcore Cruzers alienated themselves. That’s why about 2 months ago Cruz and Trump support were about even, and now Trump is supported by around 80 percent of the forum today.

“We are still waiting Jackson county to decide this. Currently Cruz has a lead of 1459 there, Trumps total lead is 2666. 6% left to report.”

You are probably right. CNN has been stuck on a number for awhile now. I just hope there are not enough votes left for Cruz to pull it out.

There may be a financial consideration as well for Rubio, since if he drops out and releases the delegates, he can’t raise money any longer.

I'm not so sure you have the right poster. Were you responding to someone with a similar screen name?

I support Cruz because he is the most likely to support The Constitution and Original Intent, but I am seldom 'giddy' or 'gushy' about that.

Most of my time has been spent in pointing out The Donald's resounding support of the EPA in Iowa (which agency isn't going to make America Great, ever), and his questionable dealings over land.

I figure if you catch a dog with chicken feathers all around its mouth, you don't put it out to guard the henhouse.

But I don't 'gush' over Cruz, unless pointing out that the whole load of crap about him 'supporting' BLM (which means Bureau of Land Management out this way) and other rioters is pure crap. He placed the responsibility for their actions on them. Then he talked about the tone of campaign rhetoric and said it would be good to tone it down. Then, there followed a sh*tstorm of lies to rival any in history. Amazing.

If defending a candidate when people lie about them is 'gushing', I'm guilty.

If calling a candidate's support of the most industry damaging agency in US history and his claim he's going to 'make America great again' a textbook case of cognitive dissonance is 'giddy', I reckon I'm guilty of that, too.

I can think of examples of 'full employment' in the past where private industry was not necessary. They aren't pretty outcomes, though.

I am not him, but the through does cross my mind, that if they threaten like that, I would go outside, grab the mike and address the millions of voters who supported me and ask them to put pressure on the convention.

I suspect similar thoughts/options already have been processed through his mind already.

he does have "hell coming with him"

If Jackson County is still out, Cruz needs 2700 votes to overtake the lead.

Who knows if he can make up the difference.

Cruz is in it still to get the VP slot. If Trump is short, Cruz will offer to release his delegates and endorse Trump in exchange for the VP slot.

Cruz is delusional. I’m sure he thinks he can still win a brokered convention. He won’t be making peace with Trump after all the NBC stuff.

DD has jackson at less than 1000 lead and CNN has it at 1400 lead both reporting at 89%. Someone explain that!

You are only 60 years old and you can’t stay up past midnight? Gee, I’m 82 and still going strong. I will happily wait out all the contests and all the commentary until everyone goes to bed. That’s why I’m 82. I’m engaged in LIFE.
And yes, I’m still working.

He could but wouldn’t make a real difference as far as delegate count is concerned.
