Well...I think Trump is going to beat Rubio in FL going away. And Rubio has only himself to thank.

His absolute betrayal on immigration has marked the man...and unless and until he apologizes for that and then spends about ten years showing he means it...his political ship is, IMHO, headed for the ship-breakers

I do not expect it...but it would be nice for that to be punctuated today by Cruz actually coming in 2nd in FL.

So you’ve just protected an inferior company and failed to deal with the undying causes of what is making that company inferior, which is government-forced higher costs of that domestic company doing business. You’ve also forced a lower standard of living for the American consumer. Open competition free from government interference has always worked and will always work. Protectionism never works and it hides the underlying problems. Around and around we go.

As far as what other countries do, you and others are too worried about that. Countries that defy the simple laws of supply and demand economics by doing things like wage and price controls (”artificially cheap”) will fail sooner or later.

All of this government economic manipulation like currency manipulation, amounts to changing the measurements on a scale and thinking that changes the actual weight of the thing being weighed. Sooner or later, economic realities crush such futility. The strongest countries are those that allow open competition and voluntary market exchanges without government interference. And again, if other countries play these self-defeating games playing economic Russian roulette, it doesn’t mean we have to.

Again, as I’ve outlined, the federal government’s minimum wage and price (tariffs) controls, among other things, are the root causes of our GDP being lower than it should be and the migration of certain industry. The answer isn’t to shut up but to scream vociferously for an end to unconstitutional, wasteful, cost-raising, dead-end government economic interference.

Is there a line for Dems and a line for Repubs?

There was in my polling place, and it was 20-30 long for the repubs and 1-2 long for the Dems.

Also, the arrow for direction where to go for Dems was to the left, and to thr right for the Repubs... LOL

Well, if China does stupid things like raise their tariffs on our goods, they’ve just curtailed Chinese consumers from buying the best for less and we can certainly go elsewhere. We don’t have to do the same dumb things thay do. We should be smarter than that.

Yeah, but that’s The People’s Republic of Columbia. I lived there for a year. I thought I was the only Republican there, but it turns out now Missouri Gal is the last one.

Actually, you’re wrong. What you just posted was further elaboration given by Cruz. OP is correct on Cruz’s initial comments.

Nope. In Cruz's initial comments Friday night, he placed the responsibility for the violence in Chicago on the protesters. This is what he said in his initial comments:

"Earlier today over thirty people were arrested at one rally. And then tonight, as violence broke out, the rally was canceled all together. Now, the responsibility for that lies with protesters who took violence into their own hands."

So let’s not impose tariffs because the other countries would again pass the cost onto us. We’re supposed to keep giving everything to the bullies because to deny them our money, factories, and jobs might piss them off, right?

No thanks.

Are you really that clueless? I guess I give Cruz voters too much credit, because more often than not, I think they're lying, but they actually turn out to be low information.

Here's the entire quote that someone LIED TO YOU ABOUT when they truncated it.

Earlier today over thirty people were arrested at one rally. And then tonight as violence broke out the rally was canceled altogether. Now, the responsibility for that lies with protesters who took violence into their own hands. But in any campaign responsibility starts at the top. Any candidate is responsible for the culture of the campaign. And when you have a campaign that disrespects the voters, when you have a campaign that affirmatively encourages violence, when you have a campaign that’s facing allegations of physical violence against members of the press, you create an environment that only encourages this sort of nasty discord.

He blamed Trump for the violence and he did it repeatedly after that. Period.

All states so far have had extremely heavy turnout so why aren’t these states ready?

Update:

Kasich on television attacking Trump for statements about women. Claims he doesn’t watch television and just discovered it.

Panicked and sweaty. Speculation is that he is freaking out that he is losing and knows it. Desperate to turn things around.

Massive voter turnout in Ohio :)

No, let’s not impose tariffs because

1) they artificially raise costs, and therefore, prices to the American consumer

2) they do nothing to address the underlying causes of business fleeing our country. It is a false solution, hiding the real solutions that should be implemented.
