Cruz, Rubio and Kasich criticize Trump for creating ‘environment’ for Chicago protest
The Washington Post ^ | March 11, 2015 | David Weigel

Posted on 03/11/2016 8:31:56 PM PST by lonestar67

"The responsibility for that lies with protesters, who took violence into their own hands. But in any campaign, responsibility starts at the top. Any candidate is responsible for the culture of a campaign. And when you have a campaign that disrespects the voters, when you have a campaign that affirmatively encourages violence, when you have a campaign that is facing allegations of physical violence against members of the press, you create an environment that only encourages this sort of nasty discord," Cruz said

This is how these people (the far left) operate, when they think they might not get their way.

And the people we are trying to get rid of are exactly the same ones who give in to them; that's why we're trying to get rid of them.

Telling supports to use violence is the nonsense

Cruz is right.

What I’m seeing here in NJ (a fairly liberal state in all things but race) is a large number of Dems completely disillusioned with their party and their token president; except for those on the government teat (welfare or workfare), the working people are exhausted and broke.

I’m not an optimist, but politicians on both sides seem to think the Republicans are poised to do well. The gag order on criticizing the Kenyan Pirate doesn’t hold in the voting booth, and I think many voters have a message for him...

Thanks; I hope I’m not being overly optimistic (I’m actually a very negative downer), but that seems to be driving the frantic thrashings of the useful idiots on the left and the desperate fighting (damaging the party itself) by the other Republican candidates.

The protestors come in pushing and swinging and cussing and spitting, stealing and breaking like savages and Cruz complains we are fighting?????...WELL HELL YEAH WE ARE FIGHTING NOW SAVAGES ARE GETTING PUNCHED IN THE FACE, ITS ABOUT TIME!!!! SHOULD HAVE HAPPENED DECADES AGO.

WE see the real Cruz and Rubio are spineless cowards that talk the talk and run away.

We’ve been hearing that for months, and Trump is still ahead of Ted Cruz by less than a 100 delegates and very very far from clinching anything.

If you would not repeatedly post half truth’s, and quotes out of context, to the point of extreme annoyance of others, maybe most would respond more politely.

In any event, you don’t get it. This (the protesters actions) is how the far left operates when faced with someone they see as effective against them. Trump could have said at earlier rallies “give ‘em (protesters) Easter bunnies”, and this same tumult would have occurred last night. See my post above.

This post certified as verbally non-violent.

And have a good weekend (really!)

All of it, the tepid intro is merely cover for what is know as a “Yes but”, defense.

Cruz is saying

Yes what was done was wrong BUT it is justified because the victim...

Anyone NOT welded at the hip to a candidate knows that is exactly what this is and will hold Cruz accountable.

A Cruzite accusing someone of lying. That’s rich!

I’ve said the same thing right here - that nothing Trump said was gonna change BLM, moveon.org, or Bill Ayers.

What I said, though, was that if there was physical aggression against a conservative reporter that’s another thing.

Ultimately what Cruz said was that Trump is responsible for what he says and does, and what he says and does creates a culture that may be good or bad.

I don’t care whether Trump wins, or Cruz wins. My personal belief is that Obama’s communist-Islamist alliance will never let either one be inaugurated but will EMP attack us first if necessary.

My only reason in even posting here is to point out the lies. People here are saying that Cruz is allies with Bill Ayers. REally? What hysterical nonsense! But it is being used to “slam” Cruz. Either these people are idiots, or they are being incredibly dishonest. Either way, it is bad, bad news for the country. I am not afraid of either Trump or Cruz; either would be fine with me. What I’m afraid of is people with good intentions who become a mindless, blind rent-a-mob just like the leftists became when they thought their intentions were so great. One man or even one group of men cannot destroy a nation; only the people can do that, and that’s what I see happening right now, as both the right and the left have become rent-a-mobs. The left seeks to kill with fists; the right seeks to kill with lies and verbal violence (which I would not have said if I had not seen it right here on FR, constantly). It’s all still violence, it’s all still mindless, and it’s all still incredibly dangerous to this nation’s future.

But people can’t see it. It’s wasted talk. It’s all wasted talk.

I know very well the weasel-worded Cruz quote you cling to.

Taking something out of context to twist the truth is... lying.

Ah, so you don’t understand ANY of the words”“Now the responsibility for that lies with protestors who took violence into their own hands.”

When the Mom takes the 2 kids aside she might say to the one who punched the other in the face, “You are responsible for punching him in the face. Nobody else controls you. YOU control you. You have no excuse.”

And then she might say to the other, “You were responsible for telling him to f**k off. Nobody made you say that, and when you act that way you can expect trouble.”

So which of those kids did the mother “blame” for what happened? All she said was that BOTH parties were responsible for their own actions, and actions have consequences. A truth generally accepted by conservatives but not usually by leftists and Muslims.

Based on what you’ve said to me, your response would be that the mom really didn’t tell the first kid that he was responsible for punching the other.

So which are you - leftist, or Muslim?

Yeah, I know I wasn’t seeing everything but I thought with that many cameras someone might have posted something on Facebook or Instagram that I haven’t seen. I do want to know every side of this, so I can make a valid judgement.

If you say so.
Unless something changes in trumps rhetoric and his followers behavior, someone will be shot during an altercation at a trump rally.

The fallout will be increased pressure against concealed carry and hand gun ownership.
