"The responsibility for that lies with protesters, who took violence into their own hands. But in any campaign, responsibility starts at the top. Any candidate is responsible for the culture of a campaign. And when you have a campaign that disrespects the voters, when you have a campaign that affirmatively encourages violence, when you have a campaign that is facing allegations of physical violence against members of the press, you create an environment that only encourages this sort of nasty discord," Cruz said

K Sick just blew it!
And what kind of “culture” is The Wall going to create?
Bingo.
I agree. Cruz is right.
Saying “I’d like to punch him in the face.” emboldens people to act stupidly and to use violence. To say it is stupid.
Sorry. Your wrong if you can’t see the obvious truth. Could be caused by a loss of moral timbre.
Too much prime time TV maybe?
Anyway, if the majority agree with you, as you claim:
1. We’re screwed.
2. It doesn’t make it right.
Have a nice day.
Psssst: Trump IS stupid, btw.
That is what people who are ignorant of history and have an acute case of Normalcy Bias say and insist.
Yet the evidence is right there in our face now. Every. Single. Day.
Agreed. Tonight, Cruz could have chosen to be a leader. Instead he chose to be a politician.
I would suggest that you stop listening to the media spin about trump. I would also suggest that you look at Cruz with your blinders off. What Cruz did tonight was worse then anything Trump has did. He actually defended the bullying violence of LaRaza, Black Lives Matter and other radical groups because essentially (he says) Trump made them do it.
That my friend is a level of scummyness that won't be surpassed soon.
An American one.
I'd forgotten what it's like to be young and naive, PA-LU.
Thanks for reminding me. :)
Cruz may have been the President if had not decided to go off the deep end starting right before the Iowa Caucuses. Bringing Beck into his campaign was the first sign. Since then Imhave lost more and more respect for Cruz to the point Iannounced last week I could not support Cruz even as my second choice.
He has sold his soul to the GOPe. I hope his moments of glory and fake adoration by the GOPe are worth what he paid.
Sad.
Did anyone actually throw tomatoes? I heard that his campaign manager told him there was a rumor that someone would do it at that rally, but no one actually did it. I keep asking for someone to direct me to a video that show the protestors being violent and no one has posted any.
No, here’s what you say. You say, “Donald Trump paid for that microphone.” You say, “Our First Amendment rights, our right to speak freely and freely assemble, are precious to Americans having been secured by blood and treasure over hundreds of years and I decry any group who uses violence to enact the heckler’s veto.” You defend the Constitution, you slam the anarchist left and its fascist tactics of shutting down political speech it dislikes, and you have added honor to your candidacy.
But he didn’t. And because of that, tonight I stopped supporting him. Ted Cruz just lost my support for siding with moveon/blacklivesmatter
Bless you.
Soon they will protest in your living room. No violence though , that would be naughty.
>> Cruz: “Any candidate is responsible for the culture of a campaign.”
Not every, but any?
Regardless, Cruz’s excerpted statement is divisive, hypocritical BS — a vacant charge that denigrates Trump’s supporters as a whole.
Excellent, Mr Goldman Sachs is toast!
Says the guy who supports the billionaire who was busy funding the causes, agendas and politicians we were fighting long before he decided to try his luck at Trump Presidency.
It’s not tonight can anger alone. It’s been bad here for months. You can’t seriously deny that he hasn’t stoked the anger and, on more than one occasion, advocated violence.
Don’t read the bs article on this site - it’s just the first one I found - read the quotes.
