Two of the most powerful members of Congress, Dianne Feinstein, D-Calif., and Rep. Adam Schiff, D-Calif., both longtime Clinton supporters, were among a five-member group who sent a letter accusing the investigation into Mrs. Clinton by the Obama-appointed Inspectors General of being tainted by partisan politics.
The letter was particularly strong in condemning State Department inspector general Steve A. Linick of a “fishing expedition.”
It should be noted that Mr. Linick’s Washington D.C. career began in great part when he worked under the Bill Clinton administration as an Assistant U.S. Attorney for almost the entirety of the Clinton administration.
The Feinstein letter is being viewed by many as a direct shot across the bow of Mr. Linick’s future career within the federal government. In short, he is being told to back off of Hillary Clinton. It is also intended to continue to give Clinton the ability to state on the campaign trail that the entire email scandal is yet another in a long line of what she once so infamously declared to be a “vast right-wing conspiracy” against her and her then-President husband.
There is a very important problem with that current narrative though, and it is one which the the Clinton Machine is all too aware of. The investigation long ago expanded beyond the office of the Inspector General. It has for months been an FBI matter. This same FBI is said to be nearing its concluding phase of the investigation, the results of which apparently have Hillary Clinton very-very concerned.
As well she should be.
Mrs. Clinton has been caught intentionally sharing a repeated misdirection with the American public when she declares she “…never sent or received information that was marked classified” via email.
That is true – NOBODY in the federal government receives email that is “marked classified”. Government email is such that classified emails go through a specific, government-protected email system – without being marked classified.
The classification designation is simply implied by way of Mrs. Clinton’s former position as Secretary of State. She knows this, and yet she purposely set up a private email server to bypass the government’s system.
NO FORMER SECRETARY OF STATE HAS EVER DONE THIS.
When Mrs. Clinton says her predecessors “did the same thing” regarding having a private email account, she is again misleading the publican the FBI knows it. First, Hillary Clinton used email by the tens of thousands. No other Secretary of State has ever done that. Second, Mrs. Clinton purposely mixed personal and government business onto the single private, unsecured server. No other Secretary of State has ever done that either – BECAUSE IT IS ILLEGAL.
So the FBI is watching as Hillary Clinton repeatedly misleads the American public, even as it continues to extract information from the private server Mrs. Clinton attempted to destroy – including the over-30000 emails the former Secretary of State refused to hand over to investigators but instead had her legal team delete from the server.
Rumors now suggest a shoe is about to fall within four to six weeks regarding this matter, and that Hillary Clinton has been in near-daily contact with her legal team in preparation for what they fear to be a difficult outcome for her campaign and perhaps even her own personal future.
Hillary Clinton is in big trouble. She knows it, and is begging her high-powered, political-elite friends to try and save her and her 2016 campaign:

And Comey? He’s out to “get her”?
He’s been slow rolling this one so bad, it’s historical. And even with that the sharks are circling him.
How sickening. Even as they are throwing the entire book and kitchen sink at some scrufty ranchers out West, they soft shoe this outright criminal.
Victim? She’s an ordinary scofflaw, playing the victim.

It was actually hillary who embarked on a fishing expedition. Her targets were high bidders and her bait was access to her server.
Feinstein, of all people, shouldn’t claim any moral authority, for all the corruption she’s engaged in to the continued enrichment of her husband, dick blum.
Add the Benghazi of incompetence, lies, cowardice and treason, Hellry should rot in solitary confinement...with conjugal visits from her wife, Huma.

Dems will be the ones with the brokered convention with Obama's people picking the next dem if Hillary is indited. Goodbye forever the Clinton side of the party and hello communist forever.

That's what HRC means when she say they weren't marked "classified". It's the same what the meaning of is, is. It's also demonstrates her team put a lot of thought into her standard rejoinder.
If she stonewalls and does not release the speech transcripts....it enables Republicans to paint her into a corner. This is not just a vast right-wing conspiracy that is causing her problems. She has caused herself these problems. The server is not the vast right-wing conspiracy. It's Hillary Clinton deciding she could put a server in her closet. The same with the transcripts. The same with accepting b anking money in a presidential year when she knew that she was probably going to be running for President.....

Actually, I’m not sure that’s true since both of us retired.
I know right before I retired, we were implementing the DMS—the Defense Messaging System, which went from Western Union style telgrams, which we called communications center messages or cable transmissions, to email style communications.
It wasn’t easy to do.
For example, with a cable, say a high priority impending war message coming in at midnight, the comm center operator would immediately inform the command post who would wake a sleeping commander if need be to receive and verify the message. You can’t do that with a direct email going to say, commander@bigoverseasbase.af.mil, unless he’s lying in bed with his email client open on his laptop right there in front of him.
So the idea was to use a command post address that was manned 24/7, and a priority traffic scheme to ensure such important things didn’t buried in a server somewhere.
Now, I retired just as we were putting the system in, first at Ramstein in Germany, and then when I got to Maxwell AFB in Alabama. But we did have plans to turn off the comm centers in the late 90’s once everything was set up and running.
I'd never mislead or otherwise vex or annoy a publican. It leads to slow refills.
