New video of Donald Trump’s press conference Tuesday evening shows that the Washington Post’s account of an altercation involving Breitbart News reporter Michelle Fields could not possibly have happened as Ben Terris reported.
In conducting our own due diligence, we have reviewed as much video footage and other evidence as possible, and present it in the interest of transparency.
Contrary to what Donald Trump said Thursday evening after the GOP debate, the incident certainly happened. However, the person who made contact with Fields was likely not Trump campaign manager Corey Lewandowski.
As Trump campaign spokesperson Katrina Pierson said Thursday on the Fox Business Network, “someone probably did grab her,” i.e. Fields, though Pierson claimed it could not have been Lewandowski.
Audio of the incident, published on Politico, shows Fields asking Terris if the individual who pulled her left arm was, in fact, “Corey.” Terris says it was — an assertion he later repeated in print: “I watched as a man with short-cropped hair and a suit grabbed her arm and yanked her out of the way. He was Corey Lewandowski, Trump’s 41-year-old campaign manager.”
However, Lewandowski was not the only “man with short-cropped hair and a suit” walking near Trump. And he was walking on the opposite side of Trump from Fields, and Terris.
A photograph by Washington Post photographer Jabin Botsford, Terris’s colleague, released by ABC News World News Tonight, and taken seconds before the altercation took place, shows two men with short-cropped hair.

This incident reminds of the Sally Field’s movie ‘Absence of Malice’, in which over-eager reporting, political wrangling, and vested interest contribute to a witch-hunt atmosphere, asserting guilt based only on circumstantial evidence.
Worse, it appears exculpatory video evidence is being withheld by operatives closely linked to the narrative-evidence begins at +6:45.

Frankly, I couldn’t care less. Trump didn’t do anything so I don’t know what all the frenzy is about.

Ben Terris is her boyfriend. Even though there’s nothing to the allegation she still pressed charges. She has a book coming out soon, so the bimbo wants someone to buy it. After all this failed 28 year old has had such a distinguished life she has written a book about it. This is to try and hurt Trump and Lewandowski should sue the living hell out of her for defamation of character.
Cavuto on a few minutes ago with two Trump haters that said Trump encourages all this violence and Cavuto basically went along with it. Dobbs is the only one on Fox that can be truly relied on to give Trump a fair shake. Maybe Bolling. The rest could be working for MSNBC.
Varney has been positive about Trump. Same goes for Bolling.
Cspan video pic at 8 sec mark strongly suggests Lewandowski did NOT grab Fields.

The hand grab is viewable in the pic but Lewandowski’s elbow and forearm extend towards Fields above and away from the hand grab. The hand grab matches the pics of Fields’ bruising location. But the hand grab came from someone (security?) behind Lewandowski.
I took this pic and marked it up to show this. Since I don’t know how to post images, I sent the pic to JimRob to see if he can get this up.
I don’t even watch Fox anymore. I watch Maria Bartiromo on FBN in the mornings, and only Lou Dobbs and Hannity at night.
I find myself watching CNN more and more. Esp. during debate or election coverage. They do a fantastic job!
