New video of Donald Trump’s press conference Tuesday evening shows that the Washington Post’s account of an altercation involving Breitbart News reporter Michelle Fields could not possibly have happened as Ben Terris reported.
In conducting our own due diligence, we have reviewed as much video footage and other evidence as possible, and present it in the interest of transparency.
Contrary to what Donald Trump said Thursday evening after the GOP debate, the incident certainly happened. However, the person who made contact with Fields was likely not Trump campaign manager Corey Lewandowski.
As Trump campaign spokesperson Katrina Pierson said Thursday on the Fox Business Network, “someone probably did grab her,” i.e. Fields, though Pierson claimed it could not have been Lewandowski.
Audio of the incident, published on Politico, shows Fields asking Terris if the individual who pulled her left arm was, in fact, “Corey.” Terris says it was — an assertion he later repeated in print: “I watched as a man with short-cropped hair and a suit grabbed her arm and yanked her out of the way. He was Corey Lewandowski, Trump’s 41-year-old campaign manager.”
However, Lewandowski was not the only “man with short-cropped hair and a suit” walking near Trump. And he was walking on the opposite side of Trump from Fields, and Terris.
A photograph by Washington Post photographer Jabin Botsford, Terris’s colleague, released by ABC News World News Tonight, and taken seconds before the altercation took place, shows two men with short-cropped hair.

Yeah. Fields deperate for her 15 minutes has filed a criminal complaint according to Pavlich on Twitter. Fields will regret every trying to make an issue out of this. That photo shows the area being cleared by agents for Trump to leave, her rushing in is just plain stupid and she knows better.
Pavlich has been spending FAR too much time supporting Fields on this. Very dumb on her part.
Notice the reporter actually putting her hand on Trump’s arm.

Squeaky Fromme (who was part of Charles Manson’s cult) pulled a gun on Gerald Ford in a crowd. She was in position to easily kill him, but a SS agent took the gun down.
I seem to remember a story about the agent taking the gun down while getting the web of his hand (next to the thumb) under the hammer of the semi-auto, so it couldn’t fire. Not sure if that is true.

By Fields own account she admits “not getting called on” during the presser, the path had been cleared by agents then she rushed him. Stupid move. Notice everyone else around her. She’s lucky things weren’t worse for her.
Bottom line she has a history of taunting police to make herself the story.
Typical rush to judgment by the press, especially MegYN Kelly.
Once again, Trump is proven right. It didn’t happen in the manner presented.

There is a reason that the secret service detail protects Trump even from reporters.
If General Massoud’s security detail had been more careful, he might still be alive today.
