Islam is not just another religion. Islam is a totalitarian, supremacist, and profoundly evil worldview that should be equated with NAZIsm. It is an implacable and eternal foe of freedom, liberty, and democracy.
Holding to Islam should be a disqualifier for any position in government.
Yes, this definitely will be a wedge issue.
Think how the mainstream media will react to a Donald Trump / Allen West ticket if he goes that route?

I’m with Trump. Islam is an undesireable parasite that kills its host. We need to either stamp it out or isolate it over in the desert where it started. Islam has no place in the United State of America.
Islam is at war with the West. Not all muslims are, but many could be without a moment’s notice.
Give the Donald a lot of CREDIT, he is working to end “political correctness”.
If they are good, pious Moslems, then yes, they hate us. They know their duty is to fight the unbeliever until he is subdued and pays the jizyah (head tax). The Koran also says not to take unbelievers for friends.
Fortunately, there are lots and lots of bad Moslems who just want to be wrong. Unfortunately, these Moslems provided camouflage and finance for the Jihadis.
The problem with Islam goes back 100’s of years, to its very beginning. It just shows are poor our “schools” are that people don’t know the history of Islam.

The Idiots here in the states push and teach “Mecca Islam” which was when Mad Mo was a somewhat harmless lunatic who was trying to start a somewhat peaceful cult of mixing paganism, Judaism and Christianity. We used to teach “Medina Islam” in schools, but the pansy ass PC crowd and the Saudi Oil money forced the idiot do-gooders in government to outright lie about true nature of Islam by Lie of Pre-meditated omission.
Because teaching Medina Islam is considered as being a “christian colonialist” even though when it comes to “horrible colonialism” Islam is by far a billion times WORSE, just ask any Hindu, Sikh, or African Animist or African Christian...

That’s because they aren’t radical offshoots, they are FUNDAMENTAL tenants of the religion.
There is no such thing as a muslim extremist, only muslim fundamentalists.
And yet Trump thinks he can bring the Palestinians and the Israelis to the table and solve the problem in no time, while getting the Gulf States to pay for the big, beautiful safe zone he wants to establish in Syria. Pretty neat trick considering they hate us and all.
