"Billionaires, tech CEOs and top members of the Republican establishment flew to a private island resort off the coast of Georgia this weekend for the American Enterprise Institute's annual World Forum, according to sources familiar with the secretive gathering.
The main topic at the closed-to-the-press confab? How to stop Republican front-runner Donald Trump.
Apple CEO Tim Cook, Google co-founder Larry Page, Napster creator and Facebook investor Sean Parker, and Tesla Motors and SpaceX honcho Elon Musk all attended. So did Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-Ky.), political guru Karl Rove, House Speaker Paul Ryan, GOP Sens. Tom Cotton (Ark.), Cory Gardner (Colo.), Tim Scott (S.C.), Rob Portman (Ohio) and Ben Sasse (Neb.), who recently made news by saying he "cannot support Donald Trump."

Now Karl is working with the Democrats too! Nice.
GOP establishment recruiting liberal Silicon Valley to stop Trump.
The Cheap Labor Express
If he is so bad why did they allow him to run as a pub to begin with? They allow him to run assuming he craps out and then when he wins they want to stop him? Too late. :-). I am no fan of Trump but whoever wins wins.
Republicans Establishment working with Crony Capitalists who already voiced their support for Hillary
All aboard the Gravy Train Express. Crony Capitalism fears the Trump.
GOP signaling it will Dump Trump to elect Hillary.
The fix is in, folks.
Quite the list of liberals and GOPe scumbags there, isn’t it?
Bu6t the people are having a meeting at the polls. Its our party now— Not the rinos anymore.
This intelligent guys had the foresight to see what a disaster 0bama would be too, right?
Oh, nevermind!
Remember, Jeb had this one in the bag.
It was Jeb and Hillary as the nominee.
Same same but different candidates. Meaning of course Jeb is a guy Hillary is a..wait, I think Hill is a dude too.
Trump will stop the day after election day.
Hard to figure that one out...
Is there a difference? The Uniparty is flexing its muscles in a show of force.
Protecting the corrupt status quo is bipartisan, indeed.
If the GOPe continues with this stupid plan, I believe it will be the end of the GOP as we know it...There will be a revolt by the common, everyday American voter....
Trump will crush them in the dirt. Been to a rally yet? Try it ,you’ll like it. Rubio is out. Cruz is not eligible. This is over.
I am getting a little sick of these CEOs spending millions of dollars to subvert our political system.

Remember these traitors to the Republic!
Trump already knows about it. Hope like hell he brings it up at the Thursday Trump Ambush, and says all three of his opponents are part of the establishment attempt to take away the votes of the people.
I wonder if it’s that island where the bankers plotted years ago. Can’t think of the name of it. It might come to me later.
You know; ultimately, this election may in effect force the electorate to vote for Trump in such overwhelming numbers out of resentment that these guys think they can dictate who should be pres. This is like Mitt Romney. This will backfire. I’m not saying this as a Trump supporter, which I’m not, per se.
I am saying there is no array or wall of anti-Trump attack ads that does not activate some portion of the electorate out of resentment for this whole “we know better” proposition.
Most likely, this yet another opportunity for the WWW wrong-way weasels who so successfully play GOP donors for millions in consulting fees to give bad advice. Some guy shows up at your office in a high end suit and hands you an impressive card with a “K” St address and comes with kudos from other GOPe types who have been consistently snarked. What a great con.
