This is a brief video from an organization called ivoters which exposes how confusing the Ohio Republican primary ballot is, in compared with the Democrat primary ballot.

It should be pointed out that this is the absentee ballot that is being discussed. I’m not sure if there are similar issues with the ‘in person’ ballot.
These cheap tricks by the establishment only further enrage the voters.
That ballot is messed up. The guy got no answers from numerous phone calls to the GOPee and state.
How about the ME caucus.
12% reporting in and then nothing for over an hour.
The establishment comes out with the winner!
Nah nothing strange there.
Yep. Anytime you have a ballot that’s going to require a human being to determine what the intent of the voter was, you’re asking for trouble. You could see how certain districts might decide to do one thing if, say one part of the ballot has been checked, but the other part is left blank, while other districts might handle it differently. You can tailor make what you’ll do in such situations to various districts to make the outcome optimal for your candidate. Trump’s campaign needs to get a ruling on how these scenarios will be handled, beforehand.
One way or another, things like that need to stop.
And all I had to do on my AZ absentee ballot was draw a straight line!
Agree, but the establishment on both sides have had their way so long now that they just look at us as peasants .
I’m sorry, no matter how confusing a ballot is if one cannot step inside a voter booth and figure it out or ask a poll worker to help explain then the person voting need not waste what little gray matter remains to cast a vote.
I’ve never heard of a more inept population that cannot simply get in a quiet place and figure this out.
The point is, no matter how stupid you think people might be for filling out the ballots wrong, we know there will be a certain percent who don’t fill it out right. Those are just the facts. The problem isn’t with the people who fill them out wrong. It’s with the people who are going to decide what to do with improperly filled ballots. The more confusing they can make the ballot, the more ‘stupid people’, as you call them, who will fill them out wrong. And the more improperly filled out ballots, the more raw material the cheaters will have to sway the vote the way they want to.
If Trump doesn't win, this will be the last election I'll ever vote.
It won't matter any more.
Just to give you an example of how cheaters could take advantage of this, imagine that officials in a district that favors Trump, they decide to throw out improperly filled ballots, and then imagine in a district which favors Kasich, they decide that if the candidate is marked in one spot, they’ll accept it. That’s a way that the establishment could take advantage of this to give a boost to Kasich.
Not another hanging chad fiasco.
You said all that there needs to be said about voting.
Pretty simple. Only uneducated people will screw it up.
