During the Friday broadcast of his radio show, Glenn Beck said that if he were present at Thursday night’s Republican debate, and “had a knife,” he would have stabbed Donald Trump.
“I don’t know what I would have done if I was sitting in” Cruz or Rubio’s shoes, Beck stated. “I can’t say it that way. If I were on the stage, I would have said, ‘have you been listening to him tonight? Have you been listening to what I say about him?’ I believe these things.”
“If I was close enough and had a knife, the stabbing just wouldn’t stop.”
The Secret Service has not responded to TheDC’s initial inquiry on the matter.
Seems to me that is a threat against a person’s life. Why are the Fed’s not looking into a threat against a presidential candidate’s life?

After working in public safety for 25 years, I took many classes about the threat that crazies with guns, knives, hatchets, etc. posed to us. In close quarters a knife in the hands of a crazy person is more dangerous in many scenarios than if he/she has a gun. This is illustrated by an experience that I had.
We responded to a 911 hang-up call. We were afraid that possibly someone was having a heart attack or having some other type of life threatening problem. My crew laddered an upstairs window. I went through the window and as I came down the stairs I saw a naked guy siting on the couch. When I asked if he was doing OK, he pointed a handgun at me and started pulling the trigger. I ducked and quickly exited through the front door with him right behind me.
If he had tried to ambush me with a knife instead of a handgun... there is a good chance that I would have been killed or seriously injured. After the incident was resolved, the police secured his gun. It was fully loaded, but he had put the cartridges in the magazine backwards
Knifing people is currently one of the favored methods of terrorists in Israel right now. So this really is nothing to joke about. Is anyone going to ask Ted Cruz about this? And is Ted Cruz willing to “disavow” his campaign trail mate without hesitation.
I’ve listened to the audio. It sounded to me as though “Stu” and some other guy were teasing about the “sitting in shoes” comment, but it didn’t sound to me as if Beck even took notice of that side conversation. And it was such nothing teasing that a stabbing joke aimed at them would make little sense (granted, we’re talking about Beck here).
On the other hand, longtime listeners say he’s always mock threatening his assistants. I guess you have to listen a long time to know if he’s really threatening murder or not.
So let me ask Ted Cruz, will YOU denounce a supporter of yours, who has called for the MURDER of a Presidential Candidate, YES or NO. Glenn Beck belongs in a mental hospital, if he had said this about Barack Obama he would have gotten a nice visit by the Secret Service. I dont condone ANYONE calling for the murder of a Presidential candidate, no matter what side of the aisle they are on
Nah, the media won’t even report on it, remember, Beck isn’t a member of the KKK and he is not associated with Trump so non story according to the media

If you think the Dems would defend Trump from a stabbing, you have no idea what onslaught they have in store for him in the general.
That wasn’t my point Jedi. I was saying this will make good fodder for the Dems if Cruz gets the nomination. The Dems will magnify this to negatively reflect on Cruz even more than it already does.

that’s the point I was trying to make earlier. This just give the Dems a ton of firepower. It’s incredibly stupid and the fact that Cruz won’t man up and tell Beck to knock of this behavior makes CRUZ look bad.
“That’s as asinine as the statements about Trump supporting the KKK. Pull your head out of your ass! The media will pose the question to Cruz and Cruz will say “Of course not”. But, like they did to Trump, his answer won’t be good enough, soon enough or often enough for the media - or for you apparently.”

The point IS, why does Cruz have to wait until some stupid pundit asks him about it? Cruz has mouth AND a microphone AND an audience. He can put it to rest NOW! He has not. Has he? No.
