A new CNN/ORC national poll (full pdf below) is being highlighted in the media discussion based on the top-line results: Donald Trump 49% !
However, that’s not the real headline in the data. The real lead story should be the damage Marco Rubio and Ted Cruz have done to themselves as they continue a scorched-earth campaign.
The first signals of a backlash appeared over the weekend’s polling when it became clear Senator Rubio and Senator Cruz where losing support at an exponential rate the longer they continued to make unfounded accusations. Donald Trump and Ben Carson are benefactors of the Rubio/Cruz kamikaze mission.

The GOP establishment and MSM’s coordinated assault on Trump has only made him more popular.
Negative advertising and in your face attacks on the Teflon Don have left his opponents burned.
Trump and nice guy Carson gained support at their expense.
Democrats will discover burying Trump in an avalanche of negative advertising and in your face attacks isn’t going to take him down.
Trump seems pretty much invulnerable.

More than anything the world now sees how dishonest and fraudulent the anti Trumpers are.
Limbaugh, Levin,Beck, Hugh Hewitt all on the KKK bandwagon when they know it is not true. Hell I remember when Trump called into Rush’ show one time and donated $100,000 to Rush’ charity.
Then there is the conservative media that is basically a paper tiger with no principles.
The msm we expect this treachery from.
The Republicans have been exposed and the democrats we expected no less from.
Basically in the end media is media conservative or liberal. They are all the same with absolutely no soul or ethics.
Good for TRUMP for burning them all down.

They cannot damage Trump when he draws crowds of 32,000 with 26,000 watching on youtube. I watched that rally and Jeff Sessions looked truly star struck when he saw so many people for Trump. He has never had anything remotely close for him. To a politician this is intoxicating.

Trump was also told by EVERYBODY that there was NO WAY he could build in Manhattan...he father was strictly building in Queens. Manhattan, NO WAY IN HELL...never happen...at least that’s what the Rafael Cruz types in New York told Trump.
