That was THE bombshell of the night. Post debate interview Cruz said he'd endorse Rubio (open borders, Scamnesty, establishment boy toy) over Trump.
Obviously a deal what cut (promotion at Goldman Sachs for Cruz's wife likely included) where Rubio and Cruz got together pre-debate to bash Trump. They'll endorse each other if they lose their home states.

You are right ..they will go to Trump ...this confirms what many of us knew all along ...Cruz is GOPe bought and paid for ...let’s hear Crybaby Levin and Crazy Beck spin this one ...after all , Cruz is the second coming of Reagan , don’t ya know ?
I bought Levin’s “Liberty Amendments” book and other than repealing the 17th Amendment, the rest are pure unconstitutional & socialistic in nature, especially his tax amendment, which is outright communist in scope & nature.
Hope his supporters are not this bitter.
Too many Cruzers (as opposed to Cruz supporters) on FR have shown this trait. It's kind of unsettling. I'm not sure how long it will take to get over this after he finally drops out, but it's going to take some therapy for at least some of them.
Hey JS - you know that this quasi endorsement of Rubio goes completely against any possibility of Cruz standing against amnesty, right? Rubio is Mr Amnesty.
For Cruz to endorse him shows this was never about ‘conservatism’. It was about winning. And when Ted is now faced with the reality that he won’t win, he is throwing out his stated principles.
I don’t understand how this can do anything but finish the Cruz campaign - even in Texas. Maybe I’m wrong about Texas, but maybe not.
This is a fatal blow to Cruz. No way to spin it otherwise.
That was the moment that I realized neither of these two idiots have National Security and solidarity in mind.

I’ve lost a lot of respect for Cruz during this campaign. I would almost find it difficult to ever vote for him.
