Harvard University in the US is going to remove the word "master" from academic titles, after protests from students who claimed the title had echoes of slavery.
House masters, in charge of residential halls at the university, will become known as "faculty deans".
Harvard Law School is also deciding whether to change its official seal, because of links to slavery.

Harvard has something like $40 billion in endowment - over $2 million per every enrolled student.
The top 40 universities have about $415 billion in endowments - all tax free. They have really just become hedge funds with universities attached to them.
The next time the neanderthal Bernie Sanders talks about “free” education - conservatives should say OK - but only with a 10% yearly tax on university endowments above $500 million.

Harvard is locked in the academic equivalent of the aviator’s “death spiral” in which the pilot, deprived of realistic external references, uses his inadequate vestibular mechanisms in a doomed attempt to maintain level flight.

Business owners and employers had better take note of these stupid proceedings. If anyone believes that the idiots coming out of these institutions will be in any way productive, intelligent or even lucid as employees is delusional. Any benefit derived from their education will be far outweighed by the chaos created by their alternative reality as opposed to the real world.
