Harvard has something like $40 billion in endowment - over $2 million per every enrolled student.

The top 40 universities have about $415 billion in endowments - all tax free. They have really just become hedge funds with universities attached to them.

The next time the neanderthal Bernie Sanders talks about “free” education - conservatives should say OK - but only with a 10% yearly tax on university endowments above $500 million.

Let’s hear the ivory-tower leftists squeal for a change.

I read a few years ago that Harvard’s endowment is greater than the GDP of Honduras. Their tax-exempt status is something of a joke since they’re raking in more money than most for-profit corporations.
